Technically yes, but it depends on whose grammar you're using. Proper (normal, good) grammar vs. street-modern (newfangled, bad) grammer.

Sorry I didn't get to hug anyone yesterday, I was feeling terrible. I'm better now, only my throat is still a bit sore.
