this forum has a button for embedding Flash objects in a post. Does
it work or has it been disabled ?

I suspect not. If it had, the button wouldn't be there.


Just because you asked, abuse of the embedding would be an excellent way of making sure it -is- disabled... :-]

edit:
It occurs to me - you could test it by previewing the page. If it shows up properly in the preview, you should be good to go...

well according to this link the flash option is switched off as a default setting in simplemachines forums.

If I read that correctly (and I had a 5yo whining in my ear about being on the computer and not helping him, so I didn't spend long looking) it recommends that you turn that option off...


Which I just checked, and we have. It should probably hide that button. Hmm...
