In Trigonometry and Calculus, we're always using Pi and e and the square root of 2, and numbers like that, which made me wonder...

The solution is quite simple, my deer Tallgrass. For you see, when we were young, as a collective group, we were all scared away from large amounts of talking by a horribly boring public school speaker. Now, there are some bad speakers, but this fellow could make tree bark curl. Its really just a matter of relating past experiences to current issues, you see. Why, if you had asked us to discuss things when we were but little kids, we would have rabbled on for a good half hour or so. So you see, it is all the fault of that one lone speaker who scared us all away from droning on about the most inane of subjects. ^-^
