On the comic: That poor girl is probably as flustered as everyone else! Sure, she does not wear pants but to realise she is suddenly showing what she has not prior must be embarressing! But then, my face was thus;

Long story, but Amber and I ended up seeing which one of us could be gone the longest with no one noticing.  I was gone longer (who cares), but the amazing result was that no one commented her being off the forum for over a month.  We both feel neglected.

Probably.  I mean, if she's lived in a city that had at least some beings, she would have noticed that everybody *always* wears pants.  She would have also noticed people's concerns about Marilyn Monroe walking over steam grates (OK, they don't have steam grates, but you get the point).  She might have seen people get pantsed at school or at play, and noticed the attendant embarrassment, or belts buckled too loosely.

In short, she might not know what's embarrassing, but if she knows that *something's* embarrassing, she'd be able to figure out pretty quickly what it was.

Possibly, as seemed the case with Kria, quirks and traits like those remain to assure that distinguishing features are not entirely wiped out for convenience's sake. Or perhaps it has another completely logical reason. Who knows? I know who. And so do you.

There are also other cases of animals who have eyes that appear to have only one colour, as both Lexius and I can tell you with great certainty, I believe. For example, Diaemus youngi have eyes that at least appear entirely black.
