Yay shiny wepon.  Yay gradients.  Yay Photoshop filters.  Yay... umm, all sorts of stuff.   'Tis fanceh and shiny and awesome, Keats!  The lighting/shading looks kind weird, though.   Like someone took a flash-photograph.

But unfortunately, my scanner's still broken. I need to keep my art topic alive. So I figured I'd do some forays into PHOTOGRAPHY! 8D

IMPROMPTU MOTH PICTURE

...or not. Damn, this is an awful picture compared to what professionals and people who are remotely skilled can do. I didn't even manipulate this in Photoshop (but I will crop it later). I just wanted to take a picture of this amazing moth since it looked absolutely incredible. I can't find what species it is on Wikipedia, either, so if anyone recognizes the moth's species, please tell me. I'm starting to think it's not indigenous to Florida, because I've never seen any of these before in my life.

Thanks to Mowser for helping me get this thing transferred from my phone.

I figured this little guy would make something interesting to keep my art topic afloat.

I keep forgetting how effective vibrant colors can be in terms of camouflage. Before you brought this up, I thought the moth would stick out like a sore thumb to any birds.

Luminous is not generally a word I associate with moths. Fuzzy, perhaps. Hueg, often. Orange, however, not so much.
Tropical Keaton-moths have, however, proved that they can be as bright and happy as any darn butterfly.

We actually just fixed it Dad got a replacement today and we installed the appropriate software. Took us forever, but my new baby scans excellently.
