It's pretty clear that she is much older, more powerful, and probably capable of taking over his entire operation through a combination of brute force (twinks love to follow a strong leader) and mindreading.

It wouldn't be so baffling if she were surly (like Dr. Jyrras' henchmen) instead of sycophantic.

Destina may be responsible for bringing him to power in the first place, or with her mind reading skills is probably at least manipulating him to her own ends.

And Destania being a Succubi - I wouldn't put it past her. I'd guess she's at least subtly diverting resources to her 'rescue' effort. So rather than just collapse the entire place on itself, she's exploiting it's resources in order to get what she wants without causing too much of a fuss.

Besides, Biggs seems a bit... sheltered. He probably wouldn't realise the problem anyway.

Good thought but 'Dee' doe snot seem to strike me as irrational. Even if all cubi have a haterid of dragons, Desti does not seem like she would force a non-blood child into marrage, you know? She does not strike me as the type of person who thinks they can replace the childs true parent in every aspect after marrying their other parent.

..I'm not really saying this right but I bet all the people with step-parents (like me!) will understand what I mean.

Well...I'm trying to think of characters doing just that.  In Othello, Iago whispers in Othello's ear, but he comes across as particularly strident.  In Much Ado about Nothing, Don John is fairly accurately described as the bastard brother of Don Pedro.

Neither of them appear particularly meek.  Even Cloud seemed rather upset when he tried to infiltrate Don Corneo's organization.

Indeed.  Last I heard she said, in effect, that that was the 'cheap' option.  And while she could cut corners, it would detract from the overall quality of the strip and given the effort she's put into improving the shading recently, it would be a waste.

I doubt she's second-in-command. Then she would've known a few details of the wedding plans. Like, uh, who he's going to marry. And where he'd abduct his bride from.

What makes you say that? So far we have one case of people escaping from the Twinks only because the leader let them go after recognizing that his sister was with them, and two cases of Twinks stealing things and people without even being detected. Oh, and one case of a main character being taken down by a twink in one blow.

Me personally I think Biggs is in a WORLD of hurt.

On one side Dan wants a peace of him for Kidnapping Alexsi.
on the second side Alexsi wants a peace of him for kidnapping her.
on the Third side Widly wants a peace of him for trespassing on her territory.

Of the three is powerful but all three together would be quite the force to be reconed with.

Me personally I think Biggs won't be walking away (well carted away at best) from his upcomming beat down.
