The Invisible X thing has been a popular fixture of lolcats, so they're just using philosophers and their philosophies for the basis for these macros.  The contrast of serious thinkers and silly captions is what makes it funny.

The invisible argument one I'm not sure about as I'm not familiar with Kripke, but apparently it's a jab at Kripke's handwaving arguments.  The Invisible Hand one should be obvious.

See, unlike the States internal media (or at least what I've heard the internal media of the States is like), the rest of the world pays attention to what goes on over there. After all, paying attention to your neighbours is important if you want to get along... ;-]
