The way Key brushes away the objection that she was seen kind of reminds me of this line from Red Dwarf:

Cat: "All in all, a hundred percent successful trip!"
Kryten: "But sirs, we've lost Mr Rimmer!"
Cat: "All in all, a hundred percent successful trip!"

Then again, given the Cat's antipathy to Rimmer, it's not really an exact parallel.
