These people are impressively twisted.  What they had planned for Ra seems to be completely disproportionate, when they could have just had a little palace coup and exiled her like anyone else.
What did she do, kill their families?  Kick their pet monster?

Granted we're seeing this from Ra's side, so who knows.

I'm curious how she got out of that, though.  And if she had been destroyed, what would the judgement be like?  If she lived her life by Sola's tenets and then got killed by her god anyway in true Old Testament style, what happens then?  Is there such a thing as a negative penance, where the gods owe you compensation after death?

I gotta shake my fist at Ra for saying her audience would have no interest in hearing about the politics that brought this upon her because I am actually super interested.

Maybe the gods should have a karma system. it seems to me all spirits have to go through hell, so maybe dying in a karmic way should just alleviate some of the time you spend in hell.
