I approve of this turn of events. Also, the ear blushing is cute as sin.

For those wondering, what the Queen will make of this, Fairwater and Admaria are married more for political reasons and duty than purely out of love, as was often the case in Medieval Europe.  Which isn't to say they're at each other's throats, but it does mean that they have a fairly open relationship.  Also, they are 'cubi and prone to this kind of impulsiveness.

I can't remember who suggested it originally.  I was trying to find a way to make the characters blush that could conceivably work with fur.  Someone pointed out that the fur is usually thinnest on the ears, so I went with that approach.  In this case there were blush marks on the cheek anyway so I went with the whole artistic license thingy.

I guess Yak(ovlev) gave in to his instincts as a Daryil by now.

Hold that thought, for about 8 months or however long it takes for us to get to the end...

I will say that Jakob is a lot less repressed than he was in PF, this change happens somewhere between that and Epsilon.  And 'To Catch a Demon' is set a year before that.
