But hot baths make the brain think, and if Destania's anything like her (adopted and now disowned) daughter Alexsi... and she'll be plotting Abel's demise again.

What happened to Dee's coffee?  :3

I just hope she actually is taking a bath and not sneaking off to do something regrettable.

... Pyroduck and the hose again? It worked on Abel, I'm sure it can work on Destania... ;-]

You can tell he's thinking 'Oh hell I hope she doesn't screw up our plans!  I didn't think we needed to plan for HER messing it all up at the last minute!'

Razmoudah

Just so long as it isn't a hot blood bath, that could be a bigger problem.

When I read the page I couln't help but wonder how little Dee realizes that she is NOT in a position of strength!
She has too many enemies that by now suspect what she is up to. They don't know all the puzzle pieces but they are getting there. She may be powerful, but her only chance of winning is by staying undetected.

Now, this proposal to Jyrras was a big gamble, one that could either result in a big step to victory or in their a big step towards their downfall.
Now Biggs seems to be talented enough in this game but I wonder more and more about Dee. First the mess with the adventurers she sent after Abel that put her on the radar of some of the Lost Lake crew. And now this. She is barely in control anymore, a disaster waiting to happen.

Biggs face on the last panel tells it all. I think he is wondering if Dee is more asset than liability. Which is why I wonder: In what way is Biggs profiting from her at all? So far all successful moves seem to have been on his part.

I was wondering about that as well... Destania is pretty experienced in hiding stuff from semi-omniscient creatures,
maybe she's hiding the whole operation with some kind of ward.

I think Biggs volunteered too much information in his conversation with Biggs...
Jyrras loves to talk things over with his friends. He's having lunch with Abel, likely in private.
He probably wants to let Abel know he was right about Destania and the adventurers attacking Lost Lake.
If Jyrras tells Abel he's in danger and asks what he thinks about Biggs' dragon gun, Abel might add one and one together.
And Alexsi (and Wildy more likely than not) know about Dee's association with Biggs already.
So there's all kinds of opportunities for snags in Biggs' manipulation scheme.

p.s. Wine and a bath and a ferret and a bath and a ferret.
p.p.s. Freaky eyes never bode well except for Oolong ;3

Truth be told, I'm starting to worry about Ray.

When I associate a ferret with a bath I only get a mental picture of this.

Anyway, @Delian Williams:
DMFA is pretty frustrating that way. The puzzle pieces are out there, but not enough people talk with each other so the pieces never come together.
It could be worse. Another webcomic I love (Drowtales) was even worse. I had to restrain myself from shouting at my monitor "Talk to each other, damn it!" several times.

So should Amber rename the comic to World of Furrae's Poor Miscommunication?

Absolutely not, they are miscommunicating just fine!  >:3

I cannot imagine anything positive coming out of putting Pyro within Dee's reach D:

I'm almost surprised she hasn't taken action against him too, actually...

Biggs is in on the whole "destroy all dragons" schtick and the alliance with Dee is multi-generational, as seen here. So Dee's anti-dragon plots are apparently favorable for Biggs as well, though he does seem convinced that things are destined to end badly... I can't locate the specific comic but after an argument Biggs considers how bad it will be "when" Dee betrays him.

There's not that much that could come together anyway.

Jyrras might talk to Abel about the stuff Biggs told him, and Abel knows more about the other pieces than any other individual.

Mab isn't going to tell anyone anything, other than maybe saying something at the right moment that gives someone an idea to pursue in the right direction.

Who knows what kind of secrets Kria's keeping close to her chest; she's not going to talk about the Creature Council, and the only other ones we know about (Dark Pegasus and Devin) have already been divulged.

The stuff Dan's learning now seems to already be known by Abel, and the stuff from the clan leader meeting suggests the 'cubi have a lot of misinformation. He might mention Zezzuva and Owona to Abel.

In short, the only people who have valuable pieces worth putting together are the ones intentionally keeping those pieces secret.
