ps.: Weren't her clothes supposed to rip themselves apart after she grew up? damn PG rating..

It's not really rating-based so much that Aliyka herself is aware of this ability and likely wears armour that reacts magically in accordance.

a were pheionix...or was she always a were, who opted for pheonix modifications to her base form

Demonology says that Phoenix-B usually has an alternate form.  Nothing was said about it being huge and psychopathic, though...

Hmm..I should point out that this is another case of "You are seeing an exception to the norm".  Most Phoenixes have an alternate form...but it usually isnt quite so...bezerkery.  (Or Bipolar)

I should also note that both Dan and Aliyka are actually somewhat younger (and less wiser) than their current incarnations.  I think its safe to say Aliyka has had a bit of time to get better at the whole "love and peace" angle since then. :U

Ho-ly-****

Well, I guess this also explains why her eyes changed color back in 904, like Tape was wondering about a bit ago.

I don't think she's a Were, I think it's a Phoenix thing.

*Charline tee-hees!*  Aliyka SMASH!!   :3   I wonder if she's a distant cousin... she has my fangs.
Three's a crowd:  One lordly leonine of the Leyjon, one cruel and cunning cubi goddess, and one utterly doomed human stuck between them.

:]

Aliyka has the second best eyes in the comic, in my opinion. Hannah takes out first place, though.
Even angry fae eyes can't compare to that.

Naldru

I guess this explains how Aliyka escaped from Dark Pegasus's minions the previous time.

This also explains why why her methods are usually quite effective.  Surviving difficult situations is a lot easier when your enemies are running away in terror.

I believe my own reaction to this comic was along the lines of... D:

rt

I would just like to join the chorus of 'eeep!'

A stratigic regrouping does seem like a wise idea from dan at this juncture.

Oh hell..Running is the best thing ever

DESTROY US ALL! DESTROY US ALL! DESTROY US ALL! DESTROY US ALL! DESTROY US ALL! DESTROY US ALL! DESTROY US ALL! DESTROY US ALL! DESTROY US ALL!...

celelorien

that D8 panel with Hannah and Dan was hilarious!! X3

also, noted from the Demonology page on Phoenix B:
QuoteThey also have an ability to polymorph themselves into a normal being species (usually a feline) so can often act as valuable spies.

though Aliyka being huge and angry is not quite normal for a being species. XD just keep running, Dan! or fly!! surely those wings are good for something? :0 either way, flee!!

Angel

:eek My God... that is the most beautiful senseless rage I've ever seen in my life.

And thus in one comic panel, Angel was turned to an Aliyka fangirl.

Down came the rain and washed the spider out.
Out came the sun and dried up all the rain,

Yah, i remember that. mayby we can see why see said that iun the further comics.
or dan gets an amnesia and she uses that as a excuse to be friendly peace and @#$%%

of note should be that she did not say 'i smash you' she actually used proper English. thus we are dealing with a enraged monster who still has full mental capacity.

now, any bets as to whether running through a small door will slow her down?

Actually, with this strip, as with 904, my initial reaction was just to stare at it wide-eyed.

She has just destroyed one wall. The next one won't stop her.

...I wonder if Dan and Hannah could sick berserk Aliyka on Dark P?... >:3

I'm just wondering about the juxtaposition of the name Aliyka with the expression "full mental capacity".  It just seems wrong somehow.

I'm also wondering if the reason that Dan has encountered so few guards is the nature of Aliyka's previous escape.  Dan is very lucky that Aliyka's berserker rage expired before they met.  Otherwise, that head clunk would have done a lot more damage.

By the way, where is the quote from?  It sounds like something from Arms and the Man by George Bernard Shaw.

I have a newfound love for her.

i had no real love for her before, and now i do. but is it at all wrong to like someone MORE after they go king kong on the hero's butt?

Well, I cannot say that I love her, but I do find her awesome now. "OH, YEAAAAAARGH!!! D:<"

At least Hannah can enjoy the fluffy bit of Dan's wings again. She's in a perfect position for doing so. :>

AmigaDragon

Might she also respond this violently to someone saying "hello kitty"? :kittydevious
