Also cool. So, are Angels and Demons two related species in your setting, or what?
Quite the contrary. There are only two things that unite these two races - both of them are Altlings, and both of them hate each other to death. >:]

Good point. I'm an ordinary kangaroo rat with no weapons, armor, or special powers (the only attack I have can only be performed with you). I guess I'll just have to sit and wait and plan...
..And somehow I can already see you with an evil smirk on your face, uttering "Just as planned" under your breath..

Now I want to see a Happy Angry Keaton.
Somehow that sounds scary. Actually, she looks rather happy in the "Keats VS Ziggy" picture.
Yeah, but that's not a "nice" happy... oh, I get it. Maybe "Happy Angry Keaton" would have this horrible rictus or Joker smile on her face.
Just think of Asuka's "happy face" when she was slaughtering mass-produced Evas.

Oh great, this means that I never get a drawing of me with a weapon, doesn't it? That you're never going to trust me with a sharp object or a gun? Ah man, you never let me have any fun! *goes off to sulk*

Since her back-story can be found here, I won't repeat myself. And yes, that's the Nullifier sword stuck in the ground next to her. It is also a high-frequency blade, which means it cuts flesh and bone like butter.

... Not to be picky, but if it's a sword like that, wouldn't the high frequency vibrations mean that it cuts the ground like butter, as well?

In which case it'll either sink to the hilt, or fall over...

This ruins the "dramatic imagery", but provides some amusement. ;-]

Good point. I forgot to mention that the vibration generator can be disengaged. After all, if it was permanently activated, it would probably cut the scabbard from inside, too.

In Ultima 9, that tends to happen anyway.

either claim it has an off button, its attuned to slice flesh but notsomuch dirt, or claim wizards did it, we get blamed for everything really

As I have already stated above, high-frequency weapons do have an off button.

The wizards made it. :B

ye gods, now i suddenly not only have an image of it having batteries in its hilt i just know someone will make a 'vibrator' joke if one could even feasibly be formed

Well, I have done a chibi Jairus before - now it is time for him to get non-chibi!
While I'm not sure if Jay want's to be somehow incorporated into the "SoG" setting, I incorporated him into it anyway. He would probably be an engineer working for the Federal military and building their Panzer Knights.
..And when I gave him a militarish pimp coat, I realized that he could use a military pimp hat too. And then this happened.. :eek
Something so cute has never looked so Ebil before.. >:3 (Please, don't hunt me down for this picture, Jay. :3)

Jairus

 :eek
Holy... shit. Damn. I... wow. Dude... I'm speechless.

If you need an engineer character, go for it. I'd be honored (especially since I've got "Ren" in The Covenant Wars). Just so long as I get to use/build a sword or something like that... you know, for self-defense purposes. You never know when the base will be invaded.

EDIT: Never has a Commissar looked so dangerous. Heheheeheehe.

EDIT 2: Normal kangaroo-rat height, right? Why do I get the feeling that I have problems retaining discipline in my engineering bays?

Normally I'd be making an art critique, but I can't think of anything to say that I haven't said before.

Although, "In Mother Russia, hat pimps you!" comes to mind.  :)
This is my pencil. There are many like it, but this one is mine. My pencil is my best friend. It is my life. I must master it as I must master my life...

This is so blowing my two-three practice sketches out of the water. Maybe I should do some tech stuff for my post too...

I just thought of something... I don't think t-shirts are regular uniform in the Imperial Forces. That's a little scary that a kangaroo-rat is badass enough to wear his own uniform and not get in trouble for it. What the hell did I do, spit and kill a Cthulhu or something?

That's some nice design there, but I must question you both having the same style in your avatars.  I had to look really hard to tell you apart...

Bah, just accept them as cool and move on.  They have their names in them, so it just means you've got to pay attention. :)

Great work Ren.  I have to say I like the first Jairus more but the second one does come off as badass for sure.

With great power comes great responsibility....

Be that as it may, if you take a wall of identical images and modify one of them, you won't be able to spot the odd one out unless you're forewarned, because that's just part of the way the brain is wired.  How much information you actually see vs how much is interpolated from the rest is a rather interesting subject.

If you changed the background colour, that would help (sabotage notwithstanding).

I guess I should have warned Zedd first, but what the hell!

..And since it has gotten out of hand anyway:

..And one more Commissar:

So, to summarise, this is what they call ABSOLUT HERESY. >:3

Brunhidden

reminds me of leggo star wars where you pull a lever and a hat pops on your head

it fits so well with them, but with zedd it looks kinda fettishey....
