I shall call him Ren Kazama and it shall be good... I don't know why but his Daemon form reminds me of Devil Jin.  It's pretty cool man.  I like your work.  Very detailed.

Also I've always thought this (can't link a video with that song in it, work won't allow video sites and I didn't bring my laptop today) would make a good song for someone who's given in to their more primal/darker sides to win.

I know he's your character and all, but wouldn't it make a little sense if at least some of his body markings carried over from one form to the other. As it is, the completely different markings kind of suggest that two entities are at work here, rather than one entity with two sides. That sounds kind of weird.
No, no, you got it wrong. His markings don't change completely, they just kinda extend and connect with each other.

Thanks. :3 Why Ren Kazama and who is Devil Jin, though?

Jin Kazama of the Tekken series.  Jin is currently possesed and has an alternate form (well, two actually), Devil Jin.

And now for more members of the G.S. Brigade. G.S. Brigade is a large military organization, and there are more people aside from robot pilots in it.
Kristian Frost used to be an assassin in the times before the war. However, at some point he was captured by the Eye of Michael, and they gave him a choice - either he joins them or they execute him for his crimes. Kristian chose to join. Now, as the Watcher of the Eye, he started to protect important people from assassins. A year prior to the invasion he was made Kristofer Aussman's bodyguard. Kristian seems to be completely loyal to the Order, so there is no doubt that he would give his life to protect Kristofer, but he usually acts cold and distant with people, and just blindly follows orders. However, he seems to have befriended some of the soldiers on Aussman's base, and even learned to pilot a Wraithbane mechanoid.
There is not much to say about Sydney. She joined the army as a communication officer when the war begun, and became a major by the end of the Moon War. Professor Aussman asked her to work for him at his Arctic base, where he gathered some of the best pilots and officers. She was to become one of the bridge crew of the Kaiser Javelin space cruiser Kris was building. When the G.S. Brigade was formed, she became Kristofer's right hand woman. There also has been something going on between her and Nilson Aussman since she started to work at Aussman's base.
Dr. Malyka "Ink" Ka'Rith was not born neither on Millia or even on the White Planet, but on Nijora, the original homeworld of Millians from which they had to flee 2.5 thousand years ago. Even back then, when Nijora was still habitable, he was already known as a great doctor and scientist. He continued his work on the White Planet, but newly formed Cubi Clans consisting mostly of young Cubi, constantly fought with each other in meaningless Clan Wars (angering the Eye of Michael to no end by that, but that's a completely different story), and each clan wanted to get such a powerful Cubi as Malyka on their side. Getting tired of it, Malyka moved to recently colonized Millia, where a medical specialist like himself could find a lot of work and some new challenges. At that time he became really interested in genetic engineering; for some time he even tried to recreate the Chimerid race, that went completely extinct in the Nijora Catastrophe, but he did not succeed (he managed to create a lot of sentient Chimeras, though, but most of them died from the old age). After the Moon war professor Aussman, looking for a good geneticist to aid him with his "Galatea Project", asked Dr. Ka'Rith for help. Aside from trying to create a viable Chimera based on the Maker genetic material (Galatea 13 was the first and the only successful one), Malyka also worked as the doctor on the base. When the second Dark Rider invasion begun, it was his job to put the brave pilots of the G.S. Brigade back together each time they got mauled by the Dark Golems or their derivatives.
Aghata Suzurin is a young Succubus from the only real Cubi Clan that resides on Millia. Her Clan was more or less spared by the Moon War, and it plade a prominent role in the restoration of the planet after the war. Aghata, who was always interested in medecine, looked for a good and interesting work, and when she learned that a famous Incubus doctor doing some medical researches was looking for a Cubi assistant, she could not pass such an opportunity. Unfortunately for her, "Galatea Project" did not have much to do with medicine, and some of the earlier "failed" Galateas probably gave poor Aghata nightmares for the next century. However, Aghata also worked in the base's hospital. While she is rather shy (and nervous due to participation in the "Galatea Project"), and poses herself as "just a nurse", she is actually a competent medical specialist (otherwise Dr. Ka'Rith would not have taken her as his assistant).

I'm not sure I can handle the idea of Ink in a 'good' role, though I suppose it would give a sense of balance against what Turnsky just did with him.  Did he really agree to that?  The likeness is spot-on though.

Sydney is an interesting one, though.  I've never heard of that name in a female context, and to be blunt, she doesn't look particularly female in her rendition either (though Kristian does, for some reason).  I suspect that for Sydney, it's the ribbons interfering with the chest contours.

In any case, you've put an impressive amount of detail in their backgrounds.

Yes, I asked Dr. Ink for permission to use his character. I wanted to have a recognizable and charismatic medical officer as a member of the team. Also, evil doctors are cool - at least when they are evil competent doctors. :3 And the idea of Dr. Ink being also a geneticist with almost unlimited resources and authority is enough to send a chill down one's spine. >:3
As for Ink being in the "Good Guys Camp", look at it like that - Lord Xanzanko, the leader of the Dark Riders, is absolutely Evil and all of his minions are blindly loyal to him. There is no way Ink would join him and give up his free will, so he sides with Xan's enemies, who just happen to be the good guys. >:3

Well, there was a girl named Sydney in "Command&Conquer: Renegade". :3 As for her appearance, she is not really curvy, and the uniform more or less conceals those curves she has. She is in the team for her skills, not her looks. :P As for Kristian, he is supposed to look slightly effeminate anyway.

Yes, that makes sense.  I remember when I created a party in Eye of the Beholder II consisting wholly of evil characters (IIRC it consisted of Mussolini, Satan, Batlin and Saruman).
My brother questioned this.  "If they're that evil, why are they fighting Dran?  Why don't they join him?"
The answer came some years later when I put together a Chaotic Evil team based on the UK Conservative Party - they are so evil that they want to kill Dran and take his place.

And now it is time for the Big Bad to appear, and when I say Big, I don't exaggerate. >:3 Servant of the Divine Emperor, Lord Xanzanko of the Dark Riders!
Xanzanko, the leader of the Sixth Fleet of the Dark Riders, is probably one of the most powerful servants of the Divine Emperor. End when his master sent him to recover the Legacy of the Makers - the Maker Emperor Construct - Xan saw an opportunity to become the Divine Emperor himself. In a galaxy far away from his master's domain, in the space outside of the space (well, in quasi-space :3), where the Legacy of the Makers was hidden, he set up his base. But while Xan had found the Maker Emperor itself, he still lacked the Key to activate and control the machine. The Key, a set of control genes, was stolen by the rebels of the Akai race. They fled from Xan's forces, but their ship was damaged and they crashed on Millia, where their cargo, those control genes, were recovered by Millian scientists and finally ended up in professor Aussman's possession. These genes were used to create Galatea. But Xan learned about Galatea's existence with the help of one of his Praetorians, Telos. However, he was not in a hurry to capture her, instead wanting to play with Millians, sending his Dark Golems to ravage their world. We can only guess what he has in store for our heroes...
By the way, any questions and comments will be greatly appreciated. :3

Hmm, I don't have any comments about the design, but I'm interested in the backstory.  Given that his head is proportionally quite small, is it fair to say that he's more powerful than he is intelligent?

Also, the Akai race?  You might want to think of a new name for that, because Akai are still around.

His head is not small. Rather, his body is big. Xan is a dragon, after all. :3 There is tiny Galatea's figure hovering in front of Xan (just to avoid any confusion, Teah is about 160 centimetres tall). And he is as intelligent as he is powerful (and he has enough power to turn an Earth-like planet into a scorched rock devoid of life in a matter of minutes).

While I was away I needed something to do not to die from boredom, so I started working on a new story. It will be set in my techno-fantasy universe and will revolve around one of my less known character, Raiden. It is set in a sci-fi world of the Federation of United Terran Stars. Raiden, an artificially created enkidu (a furre canine) is meant to become a member of an elite anti-terrorist task force member "Crisis". However, alond with dealing with the terrorists he has to deal with other stuff. For once he is an anthro dog living among humans. And there seem to be some secrets buried in his past, something that his creators are hiding from him. I decided to draw sketches of some characters from this story too. I'll post pictures of Raiden himself later, because I wanted to draw one of the bad guys (or, rather, girls) first.
Judith is a Fury - an artificially created warrior of Terra. Furies were created to fight the hordes of demons from the Realm of Karid that invaded the planets of the Federation. They are both potent psychers and are highly resistant to magic. Most of the Furies were absolutely loyal to the Federation, but some of them got sick of never-ending battles and fled from it. And some went rogue and turned against their own creators. Judith was one of the latter. Her reasons for betrayal and her goals are unknown, but currently she is working with the "Shadow Walkers" crime syndicate. When Judith went rogue, she took only her powered armour and her enchanted sword with her. However, even with it she is so dangerous that it would take another Fury or even a Wrath to deal with.

Interesting, and as usual, impressive armour design.  One question: When you say 'artificially created', do you mean that she's a human clone, a genetically-modified human, or a robotic construct?

Well, Furies undergo extensive nano augmentation (think "Deus Ex"), and the Terran scientists use the Atlantean DNA to create them. In the world of "SoG"Terrans are considered to be somewhat of the Atlantean descendants. Technically she is a genetically modified human cyborg.

Sorry, but you can't have it. It is a Fury Armour, so only Furies may wear it. And all Furies are female. ..Well, actually, there is a way.. :. But you won't like it. >:3

Ren Gaulen

While I was discussing Judith with Zedd, he got a very good idea for another Fury character, and we decided that I should draw her.
Even genetically engineered super soldiers may have hearts.
Quote from: ZeddCore was one the youngest Furies created in the group, yet she was disclosed to be erased due to her DNA records being found as almost irregular, but  her sisters stood up for her and convinced the commanders that she could prove herself worthy to exist. She graduated with flying colours short to speak and fought bravely as the one who could handle the hardest enemies some of her other sisters could not.
Core, together with her sisters, was in the midst of one of her missions on a planet that was being raided by vile demons from the Realm of Karid. Most of the inhabitants of the colony were slaughtered, but she managed to save a girl named Len. Len's parents were among those killed by the raiders, and feeling sorry for the orphaned child, Core took the girl with her and adopted her.
It is important to point out that Core's mutation not only affected her skin colour, but also made her larger then the rest of the Furies (who are rather tall to begin with).

The runes? They do nothing augment the overall badassery of the Fury. When you cut an alien bug two times your own size in half with just one swing of a sword, looking like you are just swatting a fly, and your weapon glows with an eerie colour - that is just badass. However, the sword is enchanted - Terran Technomancers are rare, but they know their job well, and their enchanted blades can easily disrupt any magic, be it defensive or offensive. Also, the sword is made of a special ultra-tough alloy and has a phase field generator, so it cuts through steel, plastic, kevlar, flesh and bone as easy as through butter.

I think your coloring and inks are fine, but you seem to go pretty light on the shading. You don't have much definiton to the image, which hurts readability.

Her neck looks a bit long, but I'll chalk that up to your style. the breasts on the armor look kind of high, not much room for the collar bone (Unless the armor on the trapezeus (Sp?) muscle is, like, paper thin.)

As I promised before, I am posting pictures of the main character of a story I am currently working on, Raiden.

This Raiden is actually Raiden 2.0, a replica of the original Raiden (OG Raiden, to avoid any confusion). OG Raiden himself was created on planet Gerio-Goran. Its inhabitants, a race of anthro canines, were constantly at war with each other, fighting for the control of the Yggdrasil Construct that was discovered in the Arctic regions of the planet and bore some highly advanced alien technologies in it. One of  the factions, the Soloan Empire, took control over the Yggdrasil at some point and used its secrets to create the elite group of genetically engineered warriors – the Thunderfists. OG Raiden was one of them. He was one of the youngest, but he also was the strongest of them. At first OG Raiden was a nice guy, but never-ending war eventually turned him into a heartless killing machine. At some point he was even nicknamed the God of War.
To prevent the destruction of their world, all other nations of Gerio-Goran united and formed the Alliance to fight the Empire. After a short but bloody war the Empire fell. The Yggdrasil was destroyed so it won't cause any more bloodshed. OG Raides himself was killed during the battle for the capitol of the Empire by the leader of the off-world mercenaries – general Reiji Hassan.
However, his body and all of his biometric, tactical and other data was preserved by the Alliance and hidden in the secret storage. A couple of years later a group of mercenaries from the Federation of United Terran Stars hired by the Ares Arms Industries corporation and led by a former Thunderfists' officer Sylvia Bron infiltrated this storage and stole the data and genetic samples. They were used by another corporation, OmniBioTech, to create a replica of Raiden for the AAI. Raiden 2.0 retained the personality of the original, but lacked his memories which made OG Raiden that killing machine I mentioned. New Raiden (just Raiden from now on) was created to become a member of an elite anti-terrorist task force "Crisis". However, he was the one of the very few enkidu in this organization, and all of his colleagues were humans (apparently, it is not easy for an anthro canine to live in the world of humans). Raiden's operator and direct commander, Cassandra Nigel, treated him as some kind of her pet (in a friendly, but annoying way). Also, Raiden wanted to learn about his former incarnation – something his superiors would not allow him to do. And, aside from it all, someone else raided that secret storage on Gerio-Goran after Sylvia's group.
If anybody is interested, I can give some information about Raiden's armour, weapons and other equipment, and about his team mate - a transforming robot Axl Jet (he transforms into a very large motorcycle; I'll try drawing him later).

Nice work on the armour.  A couple of questions:
1. What happens to his ears?  It doesn't look like they fit in the helmet.
2. Similarly, his muzzle also seems a little short for a canine.  That's good if all he gets is a helmet designed for humans, but it's a little unusual in canines unless they've been bred that way.  That may indeed be the case, but I've always wanted to see what a helmet would look like for a regular dog with a more wolf-like muzzle.
3. The tail-guard thing is interesting.  I'd have thought he'd be wearing one in light armour mode as well, though... accidentally sitting on his tail is going to suck normally... sitting on it in armour is liable to hurt  :B

**EDIT**
I'll check out the others at home.  Don't want something with 'underwear' in it appearing on the logs...

**EDIT EDIT**
Regarding his memories, did Raiden lose everything (like full-blown amnesia), or just the last 5 years or something?

3. The tail-guard thing is interesting.  I'd have thought he'd be wearing one in light armour mode as well, though... accidentally sitting on his tail is going to suck normally... sitting on it in armour is liable to hurt  :B
1. What happens to his ears will remain a mystery for the most people (including Raiden and myself :3).
2. The inhabitants of Gerio-Goran evolved in such a way that their muzzles got shorter. Also, the perspective makes his muzzle look shorter (but it is supposed to be rather short).
3. The standard Nova armour is actually soft for the most part, so sitting on a tail in it won't hurt much more than sitting on it in casual clothes.
Regarding his memories, don't forget that this Raiden is a clone of the original one. He does not have any memories of the original at all. More over, he was created as an adult, with some basic mental programming so that he would be able to "function properly" (do basic stuff any normal adult can do). From his original Raiden retained only his open, friendly and slightly naive personality (original Raiden was like that before the war twisted him). However, he has inherited a shard of original's spirit, which sometimes gives Raiden nightmares, and sometimes causes him to go berserk in battle.

Now, as I promised, a few words about Raiden's equipment. First of all, Raiden is a cyborg with a wide array of nano-augmentations. Heightened strength and resistance to damage, faster reflexes and better reflexes better senses are an obvious result of such modification, but Raiden also have such things as an ability to remotely operate electronic devices, thermal vision and the Arsenal system. The latter is the most interesting. Arsenal system generates some sort of a sub-space pocket of limited size, where something may be stored. Actually, this system, developed by the military, was called Arsenal because one could quite literally carry an entire arsenal of weapons in it (the whole name of this system is Arsenal Storage System; considering how it allows you to pull something like a heavy machine gun out of nowhere, the name is just perfect).
Another cool thing in Raiden's possession is his Nova (NanOshell VAriable) armour. It is made of active nanofiber with several "hard" parts, and it gives excellent protection against many kinds of weapons – from regular guns to lasers (high-frequency blades still cut right through it, though, and it does not help much against railguns and particle accelerator guns). It also has electromagnetic "skates" installed into boots – they allow the user to dash around at a very high speed or safely jump from high places (or onto high places :3). Also, the armour has a special Power Knuckle that can build up a powerful energy charge to discharge it into the enemy upon impact for massive damage.
In disengaged mode the armor is stored within the specially modified Arsenal system – the Armoury. When activated, it almost instantly covers the body of the user, replacing their clothes in the process (it appears above the clothes; the clothes are transferred into the Armoury; the user may or may not call out "Henshin!" during the activation :3). When the armour is disengaged, the same process goes in reverse. Also, the armour has several different modes.
Nova Plus: Heavy armour for even better protection. Not only it protects against more types of damage, it is also airtight and may be used in toxic atmosphere, under water or even in vacuum. The amount of oxygen is not very large, though, but there is an option of using external oxygen tanks.
Nova Minus: Most of the hard parts of the armour disappear. This mode is great for stealth operations.
Nova Shadow: The armour releases Chameleon nanobits that cover user's entire body and produce a Lightwave Distortion Field that renders the user almost invisible (think "Predator"). However, the field is slightly disrupted in the areas where the user touches any other objects. Liquids do not interfere with it much, though (it creates bizarre visual effect, though). This mode can be used together with other modes.
Nova Wing: The armour extends a set of "wings" composed of antigravs and ion thrusters to take the user to the sky. This mode can be used together with other modes (but it completely disrupts the Lightwave Distortion Field).
And now I will tell about some weapons that Raiden can pull out of his Arsenal Storage System (all of the following weapons are produced by the Ares Arms Industries).
A High-Frequency Sword and a Knife: Raiden's favourite weapon is definitely a sword. While it looks a bit archaic, it can cut through almost anything with ease. Also, Raiden can channel electric energy through the blade for additional damage and/or for stunning effect. And Raiden has a special technique called the Thunder Blade (Raikiri?), where he uses his limited power over the Thunder Element to form a blade of energy around the blade of metal. It can cut a suit of Strider armour in half, but it takes a lot of concentration and a few seconds to create this Thunder Blade.
The knife is more or less identical to the sword (well, you can see it), just smaller.
An AAI HG-36 Handgun (lower) and an AAI P-9R "Khars" Revolver (upper): The AAI P-36 handgun is standard handgun that fires standard pistol rounds (11 rounds in a standard clip). There is nothing special about this gun, but it is quite reliable and packs quite a punch at close range. Raiden sometimes uses two handguns at ones for Macedonian style shooting.
The "Khars" revolvers are produced by the AAI for different mercenaries, specops agents and similar warriors who need some special and unusual tools. The "Khars" revolver can use many different kinds of bullets – in fact, it was created for shooting enchanted bullets and spell bullets. Raiden always takes this revolver and some magic disruption bullets – just in case he will have to face against some magical creature like a demon. (On the side note, I fail at drawing revolvers :<)
An AAI SMG-21SR Sub-Machine Gun (upper) and AAI "Needlegun" SMGA-10NR Sub-Machine Gun (lower): The 21SR sub-machine gun is one of the most common SMG's in the Federation. It is used mostly by security services and is best at the close range. Its standard clip has 30 bullets, and it can fire in short bursts or fully automatic. Once again, Raiden often uses two such guns at once to overwhelm his enemies.
The SMGA-10NR was nicknamed "Needlegun" because instead of usual bullets it uses small explosive needle-like ammunition. It is best at close range, and the effect it causes is absolutely devastating. It has forty rounds in a clip and can fire in single-shot, short burst and fully automatic modes. Like with the previous weapon, Raiden often uses two "Needleguns" at once.
