I must say, having a long life before retirement may really come in handy with employment opportunities. And being offered 10 times the wage says the employer really wants you. Although the downside is that you start being left behind during the Industrial and Information Ages but Jakob seems to have done just fine.

I should probably mention that Tohofuhai is starting a new job, and so we'll be missing the next update while he settles in.  Hopefully we should be getting back into the groove after that.

(And also that some of the story is from my earliest writings and does things which I kind of wish I had not done)
