Between Two Meanings

I've had an interesting conversation with one of my classmates on the general idea of the decay of morality between Bioshock and Amnesia. I argued that Amnesia was about the consequences of the individual when one disregards morals in the pursuit of safety. Also Bioshock was focused on the concept of a society where there are no morals in place and how the interactions between people that make up a society would degrade. What are your opinions on this?

My opinion, in general is that a story of anything isn't an argument or an exploration in any such, because an author can make anything happen.
