Story/Plot Confusion

First off I would like to express my appreciation for the owner(s) work on this comic.  I had finished reading Furthia High and saw a link to this comic on their site.  I was sceptical in the beginning but I started to really get into it and read the entire comic today.

I just am a bit confused about somethings in the story and would be thankful to anyone who can clarify somethings for me:

Some groups I need an explanation on:
Manitou (and how they came to be)
Bengahli Reavers
Terratti
Scenari
Setani

Questions that no one can probably explain but have been bugging me:
What became of Ezhiael (Seen in the Legends of Old: Chapter 3)?

What happened to Rellis? They say he left him but is he expecting him to come back? Was Luke's debt paid off by Ink?

*Will we get to see the other 4 from the beginning (besides Mary if that is her as the tavern maid)? I recall the comic saying they were all important and special. Does this mean they have special powers/magic of some sort.

that said, this'll take a while for me to explain in full, but i shall answer as much as i can, without giving the whole thing away.
I figured i'd make the first reply in this regard, so folks wouldn't direct me to this topic while i'm trying to eat my english muffins..

second: here's your answers, in turn..

#1. Caperne and Manit are infact siblings, Manit's actually older than Caperne by a few years, the how's and whys? well onto the second.

#2. The Manitou started out as a genetic experiment set forth by Bengahl, and headed by Takahn (fun fact, Takahn actually had wings at one point, but he was   born with them deformed, and subsequently removed) . the why? well they were leading up to Luke and his friends.

#3. The reavers are a quasi-religious faction within the "Bengahli exiles" themselves, think of them as warrior monks who don't see eye to eye with the bengahli proper.. There's a long story attached to this one, basically they were captured when they were exiled, events led to Bengahl freeing them from captivity, and setting the course for the rest of their history, fundamentally they're a different race from what Bengahl is in terms of theology, still they do use his name as their racial base. This helps me keep them separated from Ariannia's Thaelith, which are still a fairly beaten-down race.

#4. Terratti = Humans, Scenari = Elves (albeit rather different from your prancy tree-hugger types, although those do exist), and Setani = Anthropomorphic critters. I -do- have a few more on the way, but for now, i wanna keep those under wraps.

#5. Ezhiael was Takahn's adopted son, a Manitou by birth, he always took that form. He survived the events, and went on to lead a relatively happy and secluded life elsewhere with his fellows.

#6. Most prophecies were made by Bengahl in some way, shape or form.. If anything even dead (and in an orb), he's a master manipulator and architect, usually they're all connected to Bengahl somehow..

#7. that was the orb that contained bengahl.. as to what happened to it? two words: Meat. Tree.

#8. Ceremonial Halberds, that one just happened to Belong to Takahn, who gave to caperne ages ago.

#9. bit of crossover fun with: eou.comicgen.com, more explained later..

#10. Rellis will rear his ferret-y head sooner or later... Luke still "owes" rellis, but he was well compensated... just don't light a match near 'im.

#11. i like to think of the halo as something of a instrument.. it provides a nice light.

#12. "Shadarca" is a Cubi city, it is safely hidden.

#13. I really wanted to show folks what actually happened to Chernobyl, etc..

#14. Eventually.

#15. it does in some strange fashion... it's something i wanna keep under wraps for now, as it's a major plot point.

YAY for answers. THANKS SO MUCH for satisfying my curiosity! This really means a lot to me. I love the magical and mythical aspect of the comic (hopes for awesome fight scenes ^.^).

One other question, how often do you update the comic? I keep checking back like every hour or two thinking it will be updated o.0 I've added it to my crack list. I'm already looking forward to re-reading this at least twice next week >.<
