Yep, fear of the unknown and the unwillingness to trust it is so typical.

Anyway, is that Neremath in panel 7?  I need to know for the Ja'Fell family portrait.

Also, were Amalia and Ingar born yet when that happened?  How long ago did it happen?

Nem is blasting the other guy in panel 4 and yes, he is also in panel 7.  Amath is the guy being impaled.

Dorcan was the youngest, so yes.  This happened about 280 years ago, or 130 years prior to DMFA.

I'll add the detail shots later.

Right.  Detail shots of the backgrounds are here:

Or, on DA:

...note that pt2 is rated 'mature' for violence and requires a login.  If that's impractical it can also be seen here:

These are all uploaded at 50% scale (and are still kind of pixelly).  I'm undecided as to whether to upload them full-scale (or as near as FA will accept).

Part 3 is a great reference for Neremath.  Do you want me to draw them in those same clothes for the family portrait?

Up to you, that's not the only clothes he wears, though  >:3

In case anyone is wondering, his face is blue not green, we added a yellow tint to the picture (which for some reason doesn't show on Salomere's gown)

Okay, I'll decide what clothes he'll wear in the portrait.

And since Neremath has blue fur, then I guess you're finally learning some color sense.  If you keep this up, maybe someday Amber will show you a tiny iota of respect.

That also means that Ingar most likely has blue fur as well.

Finally, if you were going for a vignette feel to the flashbacks, next time I would suggest adding some lines and holes of damaged film, and blurring the corners of the panel.

He's grey-purple with pale blue markings.

Took me a while to realise what you meant there.  If I'd meant to do that, I'd have done a sepia print effect like in page 88.  We tinted this panel because the scene is lit by a bonfire and some lanterns.

EDIT:
White lighting version is here:  http://www.project-future.org/pf97_8.png

Oh god. I just realized some of the expressions that the beings are wearing. Those are hilarious.
After a long time, some things change. Some things don't. And I still love Regina!

Is the one with green jacket/brown trousers staring  :erk at the "camera"? I don't think he's looking at Dorcan and his parents.
