I know that this was already answered, but I just can't help it.  The truth is so much fun when it causes heads to explode.

The answer is 'no, but it is kind of close.'  I'm guessing that you are thinking of the case where n/n = 1.  You are asking about f(x)/f(x) for lim(x->c) where f(x) evaluates to n.

However, you are in luck, since lim(x->c)f(x) = lim(x->c)f(x) = 0 we can do some magic here.  The magic (better known as L'Hôpital's rule) being that f(x)/f(x) for lim(x->c) = f'(x)/f'(x) for lim(x->c).  f'(x) is 1.  So we get 1/1 which is one.  And since f(x)/f(x) for lim(x->c) = f'(x)/f'(x) for lim(x->c) then we can say that f(x)/f(x) for lim(x->c) approaches 1, though it never actually is 1.
