I usually end up making a lot of my stuff up on the spot, or I'll have general idea and just work off that.
Make mostly ambient stuff at the moment because I'm a dunce and can't make drum tracks to save my life, and I'll be posting as i make them, although not all will be related to the comics.

First thing I've recorded with something from the comic in mind, short little thing of what I'd imagine is the intended feeling for the academy for newcomers.
Kind of want to expand this one since I like how it came out.

A little short, but agreeable.  It sounds like it could be the intro to a longer piece of music.

Another track, this one isn't related to either comic, but is the start of an idea I've had for years.
More or less and ambient, possibly progressive album going through the journeys of the two Voyager probes that are long out of the solar system.

Have a few ideas for character related tracks that I'm working over at the moment, but some are a bit tough to think of anything fitting for, Daryil being the hardest.

Interesting.  I like the echoplexed guitar stuff, very Pink Floyd.

As for the Voyager probes, look at the dedication on this, if the link works (mid-right)

...Michael Garrison is also held to be one of the first ambient composers.

As for Daryil, he's had two songs I can think of - "The Age of Daryil" off "Incubi and Succubi", and "I'm Daryil" off "Who is this Daryil guy anyway?".  I think 'Age of Daryil' was the better song as a whole, but I'm still very pleased with the ending on "I'm Daryil"

I'll definitely need to go looking for that album, thanks for the heads up.

One of the things I'm doing with character based stuff is trying to keep it confined to the thought of
"what would the characters theme be in they were in a video game", and with Daryil, he has so many different shades to his
personality that its hard to pick one to base the theme off of.
