I can't help but think that a cubi, of all creatures, would know to look askance at any visual evidence. Here in the real world, there are plenty of tricks anyone with the right skills and equipment could play with a photo, or even video, to produce seemingly damning "proof" where there was none, When you throw patches and people with the capabilities of cubi into the mix, someone could kill someone in front of a crowd of eyewitnesses and unless you apprehend them in the act, it would be easy enough to substitute a patsy.

To be fair, Demons have been known to do this kind of random murder an awful lot.  Even so, this possibility will be raised in a few pages.
