Strictly Cass was roleplaying, since Daryil would kill her if she actually did suck out the guy's soul.  Her victim wasn't roleplaying, though.  Otherwise he wouldn't be nice and terrified.

I understood that much. I was merely extending the analogy a little further - there are going to be Cubi who get happiest and fed most off of the mix of emotions coming out of either dom or sub in BDSM. Some for each, as it were.
