I have been asked by the chairtalmi of the board to issue a public announcement about Last Resort Studios' current legal difficulties. The current suit brought on by the Church of Scientology, the details of which are outlined on the comic site, is a grave and serious matter, but Last Resort Publishing asks that you not concern yourselves as our crack legal team, me, is currently working overtime to sort this matter out.

Since The Church of Scientology's lawyers outnumber those employed* by Last Resort Bar and Grille, we have been employing alternate though steadfast and long proven methods and paper handling techniques, mainly luring them away from the crowd and stabbing the unprotected individual with tightly rolled up Cease and Desist Letters. Once the numbers have dwindled sufficiently, the remainder will be incapacitated in Last Resort Spas' copyrighted storage closet with several rolls of red tape. We expect the problem to be cleared up by the end of the day.
