Alright, sorry for posting two Zelda topics in two days but this game looks too awesome and I'm a diehard Zelda fan. Not to mention a 50+ hours of action-adventure gameplay is definitely news in the VG industry. Seems like it took a producer of the game 27 hours on his second playthrough just to get to the third temple.

:eager Can't wait until this game comes out.
:boogie And I have it pre-ordered (I think it's been two and a half years now). :ipod

Yeah, seems about right for how long it's been reservable. :P

Really can't wait for the game. I'm gonna have so much fun with Zelda and swingin the controller. Unfortunately, what my boss was saying, was that the Wii will be about $300, not $250. :/ I'm hoping she's mistaken, but she's the boss of the electronics department, so I'm gonna prepare for the worst.

Link should stay left-handed. That is all I have to say. (Or ambidextrous, at the very least.)

She is wrong, of course.
Wii + 1 controller + Wii Sports == $250.-
If someone sells it for $300.- they are ripping you off.

I've never bought a console at launch, but I will buy thw Wii as soon as I see it in the stores.  :boogie

This is true. I read it in Nintendo Power just today. Unfortunately, that's only the MSRP. You should probably buy elsewhere.

It's $300 if you buy TP; but the console itself will be $250. It comes with the console itself (duh!), the stand for the console, the AC Plug, the A/V Cables (composite I think), the Wii Remote, the nunchuck attachment, two AA batteries, the sensor bar, the sensor bar stand, and Wii Sports.

If you want component cables I think they only sell them online. I'm going to have to camp out at Best Buy to get the Wii, but after that I'm heading straight home and playing for as long as I can; that is when my ADJ-120 class starts (I've already been absent three times so they'll drop me if I don't show up).

Kenji

Yeah, I know it's supposed to be $250. I'm hoping she's just seriously wrong, cause no store would sell a console, or anything in stores, for $50 over the MSRP, hoping to sell em. Then agin, someone up in the Toys R Us head office decided to keep the Players Choice versions of Mario Kart GBA and Super Mario World GBA as their original $34.99 prices.

It's $279.95 CAD. I'm guessing tLoZ:TP will be $59.99 CAD. So with a game and tax you'll need to have something like $370 CAD.

Good games were always $80 or so around here... I'm kinda glad our dollar's crept closer.

Then how come you have moneys left for soda and chips? D:

I didn't say all the games were $80, I said the GOOD ones were. I imagine they'd still be 20 or so less in the states >_>

With current conversion rates it would actually be $55 CAD but they always round it up to a 0 and subtract a penny. Anyways, Nintendo said they wouldn't let first party games cost more than $60 so I wouldn't worry too much.

And I really can't wait until this game comes out :yarly
Timewaster :ddrabel
When it does come out this will happen :/life
