Ludacrism2 sent me this:

Hey, I was looking for trades and I saw your alliance. I have one word for it: Impressive.

I also looked it up and saw that you happen to be the leader of the alliance.

My alliance, Nebula-X, is a new purple alliance and I was wondering, would you guys be interested in merging into us?

I have to say, it'd definitely be better for both our alliances.

I'm interested in what you have to say, so let me know.

I responded:

I'm not sure how that would be better for our alliance, really.

I'd be happy to take it to everyone else, but I really don't think anyone will take you up on it.

Incidentally, if you're Luda off IRC, I'm not usually on at 3am my time. Just FYI. If you try some 4 hours earlier, you might have more luck.

He's been trying to get hold of me for a couple of days, now.

Also, he's spoken to Tezkat, and Tezkat seems to be garnering the impression that Luda is trying to increase his membership so he can join Poseidon.

My official opinion? Meh. We're fine as it stands. We'd have to repudiate our agreements with PEACE and Poseidon to get in bed with yet another new alliance. I'll pass, thanks, even if I'd be second in size in that alliance - Tez would be first, so that's not changed. ;-]
