pretty interesting. quite funny that the PS3 girl says exactly the same "advantages" of PS3 the Sony executives spit out.

Anyways, onto the subject at hand, at this point and time it is no contest.

PS3: 3rd Publishers are cancelling major titles like Oblivion and Splinter Cell
Wii:  3rd Publishers are announcing new unknown titles like Far Cry and Blazing Angels

PS3: Power.org, Asus, and IBM indicate that PS3 and Cell production is behind schedule, Asus unable to meet 6million target by March 2007, more than likely will hit 2million maximum
Wii:  IBM and ATi indicate that Broadway and Hollywood production is on target and proceeding normally, on track to ship ship 5million before December 2006

PS3: Development Kits are far and few between, most developers have not recieved final / launch development kits
Wii:  Development Kits are widespread, several small developers already have 4th gen kits in addition to 3rd gen kits. Launch Gen dev kits are already in hands of major 3rd party developers

PS3: Launch lineup devoid of major unique brands
Wii:  Metroid, Mario, Zelda

PS3: 6axis motion sensing controller
Wii:  Full 360 spherical motion sensative

PS3: RCA / S-Video / Component / HDMI output
Wii:  RCA/ S-Video / Component / VGA output

PS3: $500/$600 US
Wii:  -$250

I have nothing to add because je covered that so very beautifully but I must say that that advert is the most hilariously wrong thing I've seen ... well, today!  I saw something equally as wrong yesterday but I won't get into that now.

I was hiding behind my hands by the point of; "I'm cheap!"
