It's good to see another Mana game.  I never got to play (or even find) Legend of Mana for the PSX, but I did play Sword of Mana, Final Fantasy Adventure, Secret of Mana, and Seiken Densetsu 3 (Legend of the Mana Sword?).

No matter what people say about SD3, I still like Secret of Mana the best.

I was netplaying it over ZSNES with Rugal a week or so ago.. but I've been so busy as of late that I've neglected my Sprite Wizard duties....

SoM is a great game. LoM was decent, but I just couldn't really get into it.

Is WoM suppoed to be an MMORPG?

It'd be weird if it were a Cross-Platform MMORPG, with people from the DS, PSP, and other systems playing it...

Not impossible if it's primarily a top down perspective like the other entires in the series.

What I understood from the Gamespot article, they are launching all sorta crap like an anime, manga etc. etc. etc. in addition of it being multiplatform and multigenre( ?) or something.

I pray to gods it will be 2D, like the illustrations!

Oh, and LoM was teh shit, way better than any of the rest Mana games IMO.

Unfortunately, I have not played the game, so I cannot concur.

Big Mana project... which is weird considering the Mana guy left Square (didn't he?).  Wasn't he also the Chrono guy?

as long as the people behind ff11 confess their sins they are saved from the lake of sulphur, multiplayer is NOT how Final fantasy is meant to be!
btw i think thats 3 derailments

I just think they shoulda called FF11 FFOnline instead. It's not like it follows the same logistical rules of the rest of the series.
