Well people, it comes out tomorrow. I have timed sending back my last Gamefly game so I should get it next. It's going to be big. They have added so much. What has everybody heard about it? Mainly I heard you get to choose your gender this time around, you get a dog as a companion and there are guns. Assuming it's similar to the last game, I plan on making a gun slinging spell casting hero of the people.

oh my gosh yes, i wanted to get this game so much when it came out yesterday but alas my dental bill says nay...

though i am saving my tip money to go out and get it sometime within the next month...

i like the idea of adding old musket-y guns but i preferred the bows more, char's bow, or even just a yew with a few augmentations. the good thing is that they happened to spice up the melee combat, it was a button masher in the first one but in the second i'm expecting more strategy, and more complex button mashing...

also i like how they set the spells up, there's only like 10 or 11 but based on where you put them on your charge up meter thingy they can be extremely powerful or you know jack diddly squat. if it's even close to the amount of pure gaming goodness the first one had then it's definitely worth the wait.

Everybody said I should use physical shield in the first game. I did for the longest time until I found out it was actually hurting my combat style. I would use a combination of Time Slow (maxed) and Berserker (maxed). Now both of those already drain my mana significantly now whenever I get hit I lose more. Fortunately I figured that out before I beat the Dragon Jack of Blades in the expanded version.

My only dissapointment with the games was the aging system. Really, I play this game to be an uber-powerful warrior. I had to start a completely new game because I spent so long enjoying the game that I couldn't wear my armor or lift my weapons. I would've prefered just staying the same age after a certain point. Although I must've done a good job because I could wear full plate and carry the game's biggest sword until my character was 70. No retirement plan needed, I just bought all of Oakvale and rented it out. I was pretty much set for life.

ha ha, i bought out oakvale and knothole glade, then i would go to the shack in oakvale and sleep for three in game days, it made my character age fast but i was freakin loaded!

Meh, Knothole was too expensive and the people their were peasants. I say I should've left them to the creatures and the bandits, but that wouldn't have been profitable. I did buy it in the end and protect it because otherwise I would have nobody paying me rent.
