I dunno if there's really any 'Plotting' here. I see it now. I still would have called it "Sweet dreams are made of these", but maybe that's just me :P
Anyway - I like Jyrras' eyes, I don't think Amber usually draws them with the pupils like that, if it's an experiment, I think it worked.
And yes, it's good to see Abel get a break. (Even if he shouldn't strictly be able to dream and apparently hasn't for hundreds of years.)

Damn you for getting that song stuck in my head! XD
A Hex on you Amber, A hex on you Able... you have gotten me wanting *cue dramatic music* S'mores.
If this dream is what happens when Deebs is involved... She may be the most diabolical thing to be accidentally created. Anyone who can get others to have 'gumdrops and lollipops' dreams is borderline evil.
Heh heh heh heh heh... oh, Abel. I think you had this one coming.
And yet he's still dreaming! Has some sort of switch been flipped in his brain so he's just going to dream all the time now, like a creature? Or is this a sugary, fluffy sign that something's still wrong?
Looks like those of us who haven't stopped worrying about Abel since Abel's Story aren't out of a job just yet. :mowwink

I definately agree with that. After dreaming about dead friends and scary Pip monsters, being able to have a dream all about s'more paradise is... quite amazing. But I wonder why happy dreams after such shocking revelations. Is it the knowlege that Devin still exists, even if he is undead? It could still be a diabolic nightmare; he could be dreaming about getting morbidly obese by eating way to many s'mores... :mwaha
*Charline wickedly interferes with with Abel's dreams* Abel bites into a marshmallow and finds... Devin's severed arm. :U And one by one, body parts and heads are found of the entire adventuring party from long ago, and the heads speak and blame Abel for their demise since he's a cubi. >:3
What Jy is saying here is something I've though myself in regards to potentially dangerous people/ creatures, capacity to not equal intent or desire to harm. After all, every able bodied human in the world has the capacity to commit murder yet the majority do not. Just because a person has the power to melt your head doesn't mean he will.
Unfortunately, as a society we are more likely to be prejudice against those with the increased ability to do harm than take the steps to make a harmonious society. If we did people would be less likely to be violent, irrespective of their ability to do harm.
I dunno which one looks more tasty the giant s'mores bits or Abel. Both are likely to give me sugar nightmares. :mowcookie

Yeah, one can only guess at why Abel's dreaming at this point, and personally, all my current guesses seem kinda iffy.
Abel's headwings don't seem to be showing, and I know they're not hidden (http://missmab.com/Comics/Vol_1187.php). But I guess they're just folded back, or something.

It is kind of strange that he's dreaming again.
Then again maybe the answer may seem rather simple and complex at the same tie. It might be something that at this level of Abel's skills he might simply share the dream just like the other dreamer has it. I mean what real experience would Abel have outside the academy with something like dream walking (That's if the dreamwalking class was even a class he took or excelled in?
It may be that Abel may have linked up unintentionally with Lorenda too. I see chocolate and think of the first time she saw Jyrras's lab. I must say Amber's play to use smores to mellow this all out was well played. Well played indeed Amber. :)

Great idea. Work out a license deal with Amber and you both can profit. I can just see DMFA plushies selling like mad at cons.
Oh dear god. That second panel is soooo cute. I wish it had no text, because it would make the most cavity-inducingly sweet wallpaper ever.
To the folks going on about 'Cubi not being able to dream', I believe that it was said that they lose it, but not when or how or why. It may have a condition, say a certain level of 'power' or being more magical in nature which supposedly comes mostly with age (but can be accelerated, I believe, by other means), similar to how over time they lose the need for food (though not the ability to consume it). There's nothing to say that Abel has reached that point yet, or even if there's a specific point in which it occurs. Another possibility is that they 'lose' it because they lose the need to sleep. If that's the case, then simply by allowing themselves to sleep, they open themselves up to the chance of a dream occurring.
Alright, that's enough out of me. I wouldn't have said anything, but I had my fill of people going on and on about this as being 'impossible' and so on, in the last dream that Abel had.
Regardless of what causes it (and my dislike of the character aside), that is one dang cute dream. I'd almost want to see each of the cast in that, or similar images. Might be time for me to crack out the tablet again and see if I can make something of that desire...
Of course, with Abel's luck, this could morph into a marshmallow hell dream (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/MarshmallowHell). Given Nutmeg's upper body strength (http://www.missmab.com/Comics/Vol_789.php) and Fa'lina's measurements, that would probably eclipse anything involving pink elephants.

The hilarious thing is that they are trying to say this to the author and creator of said circumstances.. I only know so many ways to spell herp de derp, but that's a bigg'un.
Wonder if Abel is going to have a hankering for some smores after this dream?
I know I do!
Still the speech that Jyrras gives Macy brings up a point in her way of thinking. She seems to focused on the actual capabilities of an individual then actual intent. Though that probably isn't helped by the fact most printed material that Macy has scanned is mostly done on the negative side.
That is the most adorable dream I've ever seen. It's a nice change of pace from the drama-ish comics lately.

Well this is a big lesson for an MI (machine intelligence (AI is so overused)) to learn. The idea that not all information that is available is a complete rundown of the subject and individuals will differ wildly from their core group.

I'm certainly not going to argue that Abel can't dream (not now it's happened twice!) but I'm not convinced this is a fair assessment when even Abel can't believe it's happened. If you recall, he was scared witless afterwards, so much so that Alexsi gave him sick leave.
Abel's initial reasoning was that it was some kind of vision or dreamlike state caused by Pip (1098-9), and then when that didn't pan out, he assumed he was losing his sanity after seeing Devin (1164).
Now that it's happened twice, it should be less of a shock. If it were me, I'd shrug it off and ask Fa'Lina or some other 'Cubi expert whether this was normal when I next had the chance.

Yeah you make a good point. It's a good thing when something happens in the story that people wonder and question. Also keeps things less predictable and and more interesting. Also there's nothing wrong with some speculation and discussion of these strange events.

Because Gandalf is an Ainur; and Aragorn, at the very least, knows that they "respawn" (Sauron's material body was destroyed at least twice, once when Numenor fell, and once at the end of the second age. It's also possible he was "killed" at the end of the first age, but that passage is more ambiguous).
Whether or not they knew Gandalf was an Ainur is debatable, but I'm going to stop now before someone yells at me for derailing things.
I've wanted to do an Abel plushie for awhile (just have so many other things on my list that one will be a long time in coming). If/when I do one, I'll post pics. :) Since school is finally calming down for me, that may be a bit sooner than it sounds. (Also, for reasons not even fathomable to me, I want to make that cubi teddy bear that Aaryanna kept waving in front of Dan early on when she first found out he was Destania's son. It looks adorable! And there's a few other characters on my list to tackle.)
As far as fabric goes, though, I did find this page:
http://www.spoonflower.com/welcome
Bit expensive (for someone who loves to use JoAnn's coupons all the time), but a viable option all the same.
Before I do anything (or anyone else does anything), we should get Amber's permission first. I'm not planning on making anything for profit (just making things for me), but still. Plushies and blankets seem like something Amber may want to do in the future, and I don't want to step on her creative toes.
