And as for the comic itself... It was much funnier in my head when I first thought it up, I assure. :3 I'm really glad for the warm reception of the art style too. I've been experimenting with styles to try and start up a small comic project of my own... >_>; So far, unsuccessful beginnings all round.

Bwargh...immigration stuff is a bugger and a half. I think the main problem right now is that I keep hearing 70 different possible situations. Everything from "odds are the next time you go up, you'll just get waived through." to "You may be banned from Canada alltogether and it will take at least 4-5 months before you even have a chance to go visit! :U" Needless to say...the stress of it is whats taking the toll since in all cases, the sources aren't 100% guaranteed.
My first agenda is to simply resolve the border issue, and that is mainly a matter of presenting the whatever paperwork to the office. I'm hoping that with that, plus an explanation of the situation, the issue will be resolved and I can visit to and from Canada again since I already have enough legal hoops and hurdles to deal with.
The irony kinda strikes when my reason for going to Canada during Migration V1 was mostly so I could speak with the immigration lawyer Mason and I were intending to get to help us with the legalese...and my reason for not just turning normally at the border and dealing with the immigration-griller was because one of the guards suggested I just wait for him and save myself the money of the lawyer. But unfortunately the immigration guy was asking me stuff as if I was that day and on my own trying to immigrate, which is a whole different set of gameplan and rules from just visiting for an extended time.
At this time...I'm kinda murphed over what I have to do...and its back down to waiting. again. I hate waiting. I feel like a lump and really with all the various suggestions of what I should be doing...its making the whole situation seem really really confusing more than I think it should be.
But still...it was a very awsome guest comic. The faces especially were making me laugh. And I will get that maple syrup yet! >:3
You see all the B grade maple syrup gets shipped to the states we keep all the A grade stuff to sell at exorbitant prices to the tourists ;). you have to come to Canada to get it. I do recommend the maple cookies they are awesome :mowcookie

I'll be absolutely honest I've never tried the A grade stuff they sell to the tourists, exsept the cookies awesome :mowcookie. nor have I tried the other syrups mentioned so I can't say which is the superior syrup.

*Charles hmms* I tried making maple syrup from silver maples, but the flavor tasted like maple wood (as if one were chewing on a green maple branch) and was rather icky. However, when it sat for a while, the sugar started to crystallize out and was quite pure-tasting, like regular table sugar, so I boiled it further to reduce the liquid and get more crystalization, so at least the sugar was usable. Sugar maples are the best for syrup, period. Silver birch gives spicy sap, and makes an interesting syrup, but we have none of those trees where I live in NJ.

The site says, "By Remy 'Eisu' Mokhtar." Unless there's some big notice that it's being done by someone else, it looks like Eisu's style because it
is Eisu. That, or I'm misunderstanding something again.
