Good to hear that you're feeling better, Amber. And why did you have to leave us at the unmercy of your husband? Why?!
I shall be at the convention, being that I am one of the locals! However, I've also been conscripted into running around the con the entire weekend in a pretty red shirt. Oh please don't put me in the away team! ;~;
As I recall, the people in the red shirts didn't fare much better when they stayed on the ship (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/RedShirt).
Hey now, Mason has an excellent sense of humor and kick ass writing skills. Even if it's punishing, I'm sure it will still be awesome. Also, though I'm sure he doesn't read these forums (base on something that was discussed in a webcast) on the off chance he does I have but one request... No Necromorph references. That image still haunts my dreams. *shudders*
I'm surprised that noone mentioned the fact that this was a clockwork orange parody.
So does Amber get her inspiration from classical music?

If so, I'm going to go ahead and hope she isn't also a violent rapist. That said.. she's said some pretty shady things in the past. Hmm..

No, but I think Mason gets his from a bit of the old Beethoven...
And he does seem to enjoy a little bit of the old ultra-violence... hmm. Curiouser and curiouser.
I want one of those hats now. You must give me one!
I want that hat. Amber totally needs to set up an online shop that sells those hats.

She's making up her rassoodock what to do with the evening. ;)
I noticed, because Stanley Kubrick happens to be my favorite movie director, and
A Clockwork Orange is one of my three favorites of his films--the others being
The Shining and
Eyes Wide Shut.
It's nice to know we won't be forgotten this weekend. I myself look forward to the Mason organized strips.

Now I have Henry Purcell playing in my head.
Will be interesting to see where the husband takes DMFA .. and if there will be con pics. :)
Oh cool... I wish I could go to a Con. :< My Friend just went to ShevaCon and didn't even take me. :U
Why? Just Why?
I have no idea as to what the punchline is.
Please ignore this double post. Have no idea how it got here.

Well, Mason basically says that he doesn't need a larger version of something that he has... and then he shows us something very, very large (compare it to him). Think about it...
Also, I right-click, View Image'd this comic, and I noticed that it's 666 pixels wide. :erk
Hmm I can only say one thing. Za?
The screams of Mab's fans shall never cease.
That is, of course, until another drawing of Mink comes along, in which case the screams shall be replaced by d'aws.

:erk
Wow, this is the first time a web comic has made me go and delete all the contacts form my e-mail program and then run a virus scan.
True the name used was probably just random, but come on.....that is freaky close to my forum name.
i don't blame you. i've seen variants of my name popping up everywhere online for 8 years now. and yes it took me a moment to get the joke as well cause i never payed attention to Dick Cheney and i don't think too many people did.
Well I for one am looking forward to my Sunday venture down to the con. I'd be there Saturday as well but I have prior obligations :mowdizzy Can't wait though, s'gonna be my first furry con, and I get to see Amber again.
Hrm. Merging those two threads got interesting.
Oh, well.

With Lucy?
I was not expecting that.
Loling forever. :giggle
Amber and Mason are like... fleas, I guess, or they have a symbiotic relationship with Dick Cheney that allows a mutually beneficial existence for both organisms, like remoras and sharks.
Or Remoraids and Mantines. [/Pokemans]
I hate it when people need good jokes explained to them. Who in the world doesn't know Dick Cheney? The man is the embodiment of Satin. It even says it in the Bible.

Dude, Turnsky, how could you refuse that? A +20 Robe of Dick Cheney is an invaluable addition to any person's inventory.
:B It took me forever to get punchline of the comic. Nice Mason. :)

I had *no* idea who he was.
Mind you, I was guessing it would be some politician, or perhaps come corrupt business man. :)
Offcourse, I'm from Denmark and I have no interest whatsoever in american politics.

Yeah, but it lowers your charisma by 10, nullifies Deflect Missiles, and is practically useless with
out the Book of Karl Rove. (Hey, I'm just sayin'.)
And I needed no explanation before I started laughing. Doesn't matter if they're republicans or democrats, they both equally suck in my book.
Now I'm really getting at it and checking out his archives. However, I am TOTALLY outraged by this: http://www.tailsteak.com/archive.php?num=494 (http://www.tailsteak.com/archive.php?num=494)! Seriously, if you're gonna deep-fry something in bacon fat, add some mozzarella cheese!
EDIT: Fix'd.
...Amdrea?
I'm not amused.

Oh. OH. Get it now I do.
I didn't quite get what the point was either until now. I think Amber's husband has a rather dry sense of humor.
I was going through DMFA withdrawal, but after a couple of coffee and rums I feel fine. :)
By the by, I have been thinking this way
http://www.tailsteak.com/archive.php?num=495
since the assistant pastor at my parents' church told some of us youths he did not perform marriages as an Episcopal priest, but as a special judge. I thought, and still think, that was weird.
Also, by the law of the good ol' USA, the federal government may not dictate what the legal religion is, but a state may. :erk
With regards,
Ted

The term 'Wolf's Clothing' doesn't even begin to describe the fabric that man is made of..heck, even 'Demon Hide' couldn't begin to cover it, IMO :kruger

I would. George Bush would be my slave and I'd have the powers of a vampire, I see no faults.

I'm not terribly surprised.
Neither am I, but this is nothing new considering I have to live with the guy. Although now it feels like i should be smacking him.
However, in all honesty... Dick Cheney is not THEIR big "Dick"... He used to be ours, but now we're just Biden our time.
Yes, Mason's comic was a political joke about a more-than-a-year-out-of-office politician from somebody else's country (USA), who's primary business while in office was to go about making speeches.
That's a problem when one tries for political humor, sometimes.
I liked it, and I strongly hope it is archived somewhere. Good 'un, Mason.

It gives a +2 to hit against Lawyers, so that could be a bonus... It doesn't even discriminate between them!
I like good-natured jokes about politicians... Even the ones I support/tolerate/endorse.
