...if i was a kid, i would have loved a tire-swing like that.... hell, i'd still take one now... :P
On second thought, how long do you think Abel's gonna last before he releases his grip, and lets the tire, and Jy, fly?
Who knows, but Amber is fueling the Abel/Jy-Jy Shippers.
Mwuahahaha, more fuel for the fire! *dances around and hugs her Jy-squeak and Abel plushies* >3

Two questions. Where did you get those plushies, and can I get some?
Absolutely adorable, Amber, and a wonderful bit of filler art. I hope Abel doesn't get tired. That would be bad.
Such a cute picture. I love everything about it. Jyrras looks so happy; it gives you a warm fuzzy feeling. :)
The Cute Alert just busted a bulb! Turn your eyes away from this picture before they are clogged up with raw sugar!
Hmm this looks like this is a traditionally colored picture or am I just seeing things?
I love the colored-pencil comics. I don't see a lot of non-electronic style art on the internets, and it goes to show Amber's talent that she can do both with equal skill.
Jy-squeak continues to be cute, and Abel continues to be nonchalant. Surely all is well with the world.
Abel got to be pretty strong to do that, I think. But it is very nice of him to do that. The picture is great, and very cute too. Gives me that warm fuzzy feeling inside. :3
Oh nice. Like the pencil-work. I kind of imagine pulling on someone's tentacles would kind of hurt, though...

Not if they were prepared for it. After all, they can cut steel; a little pull in a prepared fashion isn't going to damage them, I would have thought.

I agree with the Boxy One on that it should not hurt, but I have suddenly realized that Abel would have needed to secure himself on that branch with a few more tentacles not to fall off. After all, the tyre and Jy-Jy swinging in it are not weightless, not to mention the momentum they should be creating.
..Yes, I am overthinking it. :B

You could probably stop it from hurting if you wanted. They certainly can feel pain though, as per strip 975...
The pretty pencil-work makes me happy. :)
But I remember that swings like that were always filled with primordial ooze whenever I wanted to play with them.

That would be a design flaw. You should always put a hole in the bottom of the tire when installing it, for that very reason...

That makes me wonder if the people that put them up intentionally made them that way to scare kids...

As with many things in DMFA, this can all be explained with one word: magic. xD
Amber can lurk at my table! :3
*Charles has evil plans!* :mwaha
Well, what else is there to do during summer? :D
Love the Abelswing picture. It is beyond cute. Even though as metioned above, it does add more fuel to a certain fire...
Excellent pencil work, by the way.
Have a great time at Anthrocon, Amber. I will be keeping my fingers crossed that everything goes well for you.

Sleep swinging...
I wonder if we can net together his tentacles for a jungle gym while he's out.

Insert horrible innuendo-laden joke about Abel having endurance here.

Now I am even MORE fascinated! That's a line I never expected our girl to cross... I am impressed with this notion, yes. >:)
Little known fact: All art in the internet that hasn't been done by you has been done by me. At some point in another. Thats the problem with time travel. It always confuses me over which artistry I am doing at the moment.

Can I have that ability too? I'll be your best friend. Or if that doesn't work... I'll give you pie.

Is it as a result of those experimentations that video games get released in Australia months after everyone else gets them? Because some sort of desynchronization of the time-space continuum would explain
everything!
To...much...cute!

A full week, actually.
There are computers that you can use at Anthrocon to browse the web and there are many people who bring their own computers. So it would not be impossible to hear from people while they are at Anthrocon.

This pic ought to be used as the example for a new Trope:
Tooth-Meltingly Cute.
Considering that fact that cubi wings and tentacles sometimes seem to act on their own (http://www.missmab.com/Comics/Vol_378.php), is this Abel's idea, or is it his wings' idea? And considering that cubi don't need to sleep (http://www.missmab.com/Comics/Vol_752.php), is Abel really asleep?

Perhaps the tentacles making that tire swing for Jy reflect a subconscious desire on his part? And he could just be taking a nap on a beautiful summer day while Jy plays.
I find the file name for the picture to be super.

Who knows, but Amber is fueling the Abel/Jy-Jy Shippers.
Today, a summer tire swing.
Tomorrow, the DMFA Sandlot Baseball Team.
Manager is trying to put together the fielding roster. One smartypants immediately suggests Jyrras for shortstop, and gets groinpunched for it (it's difficult to punch someone in the nose when you're Jyrras' height, so you punch where you can...), and more sober analysis says that his short legs put him at a disadvantage when chasing around fly balls. It's also agreed that Abel's mastery of Cubi wings give him an unfair advantage in the outfield. So the two of them are slotted in the battery.
This works until somebody asks which one is which position...

When one's strike zone is smaller than the diameter of the baseball, things get interesting.

I missed it. What was it called?
EDIT: Never mind, I found it. Heheheh. "A Friend With Benefits." Very double entendre-ish, Amber.
it could even be made a two day series.
Day one: Kria has a clipboard and her business manager's attire. Near her are Lorenda, Jyrras, Dan (standing just over Jyrras's right shoulder), and Mab.
Panel one: Hey, I'm putting together a baseball team today, who wants in?
Dan: Jyjy can be shortstop!
Panel two: *THOMP*
Panel three: Dan is in the fetal position holding his groin. Lorenda is beginning to cast a healing spell, Mab looks sickened, Kria is roaring in laughter at the unexpected slapstick comedy, and Jyrras is apologizing furiously.
Day two:
Panel one:
Jyrras: But seriously, how can I be a fielder? I'm too small.
Dan: (in a wavering mumble) I'm not playing...ooogh...
Panel two:
Lorenda (from her healer's position, kneeling over Dan...AGAIN...this time joined by Mab, who is also charging for a spell): Speaking of the Cubi, those wing-tentacles give them an unfair advantage in fielding.
Kria: Okay then. Abel and Jyrras don't field. They're the battery. Well, that was easy enough so far...
*door opening in the background, a black and gold foot sticks through. Nobody notices-everybody in the room has their backs to the door or to the floor*
Panel three: (perspective reversal, looking from behind Abel)
Abel enters the room just in time to catch Lorenda and Mab taking a double-teaming interest at the midsection of a moaning Dan, and Kria leaning over Jy, obviously taking notes about something
Kria: So, between you and Abel...which of you is the...
***end of Kria's speech balloon is obscured by another groan from Dan***
