That is to say that I am reasonably satisfied that my post is adequate. But now I'm not sure....

Oh, he's too adorable when he's embarrassed like that. Even the tips of his ears are blushing.
But this kind of affirms something about him: he's worried about loosing the friends he's got because of screwing something up, which is why it's so hard for him to open up to his friends. Either that, or he doesn't like opening up like this. Probably both.
Deebs is staring at the counter in the corner. That's cute too.

Jyrras is definitely adorable.
I can understand where he's coming from with not wanting to risk friendship and being indecisive and shy, I've been in similar situations myself..not all that fun. Despite having his doubts, he'd be one of few worth waiting for, his loyalty and compassion are rare to see and even rarer to have.
*sigh* time for bed, starting to lose eyesight from drowsiness.
He's only adorable because his ears are disproportionately large... of course we know they'll just keep growing and growing.

I don't think I've noticed Jyras with gloves or long sleeves (covering wrists) since getting his Fae curse markings from Albanion. Unlike a cubi's clan marking, it looks like they can't be hidden by covering them with clothing (even a thick winter coat?).
I don't think Jyrras can get any cuter, I think I'm gonna die laughing, I'm laughing as I type this. Jyrras Is FREAKIN ADORABLE in the first panel, and the expression in the second panel is hilarious! This is as of now my new background! I do know that I would listen to him all day long If I had to.... I'm still laughing... someone slap me.
Yet again Amber delivers a Cuteness Overdose, resulting in insulin injection involved recovery on the part of the viewer.
Jyrras is just as awkward romantically as I am. ^_^

The reason you have a cloning ray is because clones inherently want to kill their double, therefore it's something you use on your enemies. At a distance, since they often want to kill their creator, too.
Also, I bet the reason Jyrras was so upset by Wildy's Dr. Jyrras character was because he actually is a supervillain. I mean, come on, 'mining equipment' and 'farming equipment' and giant mecha-griffons? In his secret underground lair?

One, Jyrras is a fairly private fellow, and to have himself - or a version of himself - thrown out there in front of the world like that would be very distressing, especially by a friend. Two, Jyyras is having enough problems dealing with his sexuality as is, and a book in which he is featured in what is presumably a fairly graphic shonen-ai scene. Three, and this may be stretching it, but Jyrras has never struck me as the supervillain type, as a little too smart to stoop to that level. He may build inventions and weapons that any supervillain would use, but he himself wouldn't use them that way. He's like Vetinari from the Discworld series: all the trappings of a super villain, but no desire to dirty his hands and become one.

He didn't seem too troubled until after the portion with the book (and subsequent anger at Wildy), at least from memory. After all he was pretty comfortable with the idea of gnawing Matilda's legs off because of his friendship with Dan. :b

That's because he's Dangerously Genre Savvy. After all, his villainous literary incarnation was doing it right early in the story, what with the plan to take over the world and actually make it a better place. Unfortunately even he couldn't escape the whimsy of his henchpeoples.

It'll probably be something like "All in good time." Which will just torture us for months on end. But I agree with the pace she's taking to reveal it: as this strip revealed, Jyrras really wants someone to be a friend first. He and Abel are basically friends at this point, but they've really only known each other for a few weeks. As much as it kills me to say it, give them time.

For when/if Jyrras and Abel do actually talk, I can see something going horribly wrong..which will most likely be saddening.
On another note, the little Love counter or respect counter whatever it is, takes alot of points to get Jy to trust someone which honestly isn't that surprising given how cautious he is..I can see Abels being closer to the untrusting side, which will most likely be amusing to see his reaction to the question.
I think in that case it might have meant the player was just impatient, or didn't say the right things.

You have some good points in there, but I do agree that the only way to find out for sure is to wait for Amber, however long it takes for them to have the conversation will most likely decide how it goes. Still really premature for it to happen now but maby sometime during this year or next the situation will arise.

I wasn't really speaking about Jy and Abel on that, I was reffering to the dating sim counter in the bottom corner, but you are right on the trust between Jyrras and Abel I suppose..I guess there's no real point to me saying much else on this subject.

Don't worry... I'm still thinking about that... in fact, that might be how that conversation between them "goes wrong." Jyrras approaches Abel when he's vulnerable like that, genuinely trying to help his new friend somehow, Abel snaps back at Jy, Jy's feelings get hurt and he runs, Abel realizes what he just did and chases after him, followed by an open and frank exchange...

But I agree: Abel needs to come clean with his new friends about his past. Who knows? They might even be able to help him out.
Apparently Abel doesn't consider them friends, seeing as how he told Fa'lina as much saying he doesn't care cause he'll be gone in a year or two, as he put it. I think its that Abel is so used to being alone (although its his own fault) he's afraid to try a different ''way of life'' I guess, I'm not sure how to put it. He seems afraid that they may hurt him in a way he doesn't want to be I suppose, or that he's afraid he'll lose them like he lost Devin and Xander, that he may screw up and they wind up dead or seriously injured (even though it isn't his fault Devin and Xander died) and have to live the guilt that would come with it. I suppose he doesn't want to face that pain again.

So, ultimately, before he and Jyrras have a chance at a relationship, he has to learn how to trust again, and he has to learn that not all people he trusts are out to hurt him. Oh my, Abel's got a long way to go, doesn't he?
And now I want to hit Aniz again. Abel can't even trust the one guy who seems most willing to give him a chance, and I don't even think Jyrras is capable of willingly hurting Abel like Aniz did. He values his friends far too much. Dammit Amber, why did you have to create such amazing characters like this?

Being Gay for Abel. That's natural. Also, there are people who are Straight for Abel. So clearly, this is the natural order of things. Being gay for Jyrras, I'm not so sure about.
