As today is National Coming Out Day (http://www.hrc.org/Content/NavigationMenu/Coming_Out/Get_Involved3/National_Coming_Out_Day/Index.htm), I would like to make the following announcement:
I am gay.
For Abel.
And who isn't? :3
Hmm, maybe I should post that Bridget "motivational poster" thing that apparently came from 4chan...
I would be gay for Abel, but that would mean, technically, I'm gay for myself... Well, my voice at least >>
I am not gay, though plenty of my friends are gay and bi.
Seconded for Poofy's statement. :evar Also, maybe a bit for Dan...
Now excuse me while I go haunt the closest bookstore. I got some time before coming back to ogle at the two.
I'm gay.
For everything that has human parts and is above the age of 18.
I dunno though about this national coming out stuff. My family would probably want very little to do with me if they found out I was Bi. It's always sad when you can be more open with friends and strangers then your own family :/
Thats cause they fear. Not really, but its what people will say.
It seems that the new generation has much more tolerance, and acceptance, really, of gays and bis. At least, as I've noticed... >>
don't mind my ramblings
I wonder if It's finaly time to come out of the closet
What?! TGH's gay?! :O
I'm perfectly straight, but I seem to be a magnet for gay and bi people, probably because of my tolerance. But I'd think that would make me seem gay O.o
I don't know what the problem is, it seems to be common in highschools. I hear lots of people acknowledging each other's gayness all the time.
indeed our sixth form (my year for people aged 17-18) we have quite a few gay students and they're just as nice as the other people. People made a fuss at first but once the novelty wore off it was just common place.
Ah wonderus time...I am not afraid to show it...
I'm bi for Abel, 'Lexsi, Matilda, May, Jy-Jy and Dan.
...And it's all Amber's fault. D:

:B
One of the very few reasons I have for not cosplaying as Rosette from Chrno Crusade is the fact that there's a lot of people who mistake her for Bridget (such as the idiot who went on a crazy bidding war for a picture of Rosette from the official artist, thinking the whole time it was Bridget).
And as we know, "Everyone's gay for Bridget!" :rolleyes
:3 I'm gay for muffins.
Im singing in the rain, in a glorious fever. Im happy and gay~
*dances back in his closet*
Lately, they've found some very compelling evidence that alternative sexuality will be increasing steadily in the future. One factor is simply overcrowding. Male mice and rats show high levels of homosexuality when crowded (also increased aggression in other mice). It's suggested that the behavior might be some type of feedback mechanism response to overpopulation, triggered by stress hormones, pheromone concentration, etc. Research is still ongoing to discover what the biochemical trigger is.
There's some evidence that all the hormones that end up in city water (they found out that these very stable compounds do not get degreaded by sewage treatment) may be at levels high enough to alter the brain development of developing embryos. Already proven is the fact that frogs and fish in some rivers with the highest levels of hormones (from excretion of birth control substances, primarily, which have had an upsurge in use), prohormones, and estrogen-mimic compounds (from plastics, pesticides, and other chemicals) are showing high rates of hermaphoditism and reproductive anomalies. And tap water tests in cities have found levels high enough to have discreet biological effects. Some of these compounds have been discovered to have stable presence in the environment for years, and thus are simply accumulating rather than disappearing. And as water sources become more restricted and water re-use increases, the concentrations of these chemicals will steadily increase. Yup, pretty soon the entire human race will be bisexual hermaphrodites with reproductive organs so malformed we'll go exinct... and it's our own fault!
*Charline grins* What my mother couldn't do, humanity will do to itself. How deliciously ironic. >:3
Of course, all other animals exposed will suffer the same fate...
*Charline growls* Damn you humans! Can't you just take yourselves out alone for once? :cuss
Time for me. I'm male, read DMFA, and I'm still heterosexual in nature. :U
I'm so pretty! Oh so pretty! I'm so pretty, and witty and gay! And I pitty any girl who isn't me today. Lalalalalalalalala!
:paranoid
I'm happy to say that I did indeed come out of several doorways and rooms today. I did my part. Did you?

Because God has a really crappy sense of humor.
I'm gay for Abel, fighting games, pancakes, muffins, and Ben & Jerry's ice cream. OH BABY. :U
I'm gay for... meh. I tried it for a few years. Now I feel all weird/a little depressed about what I've said and felt. I've tried it, it's just not for me. But I hope everyone can find happiness with whoever they choose.
Everybody loves RJ!
Thganks why we will suffcate her with hugs and kisses ^.^
Hmm, it's not much of a secret, but I suppose I should stick with the theme o' the day.
While I am primarily attracted to females, I have recently (a few months ago) discovered that I am also slightly attracted to The Boys. While it is certainly not nearly as strong, it is certainly there. That's referring only to biological sexual attraction, mind you.
As far as relationships go, I have discovered that it really doesn't matter to me if I wind up with a girl or a boy, good people is good people as far as I am concerned. Maybe it's because sex is last on the list of things that I prioritize.
Either way, yeah, blah blah, this is me "coming out" if I haven't already. And if I have, sorry. My memory is horrible sometimes.
*Charles blushes* I kinda love handsome leonine males... *looks over to Alondro longingly*
*Alondro* :eek Oh hell... *flees!*
*Charline guffaws!* Bwah ha ha ha!!
*Charles sidles up to her* Leonine females are a close second...

According to my local priest, dead. xD
Okay, serious answer, it could be anything from a hormonal imbalance (unlikely) to just a matter of not placing any personal significance upon genderal physiological differences. (more likely)
Anyways, I'm straight, always have been. I have no problem with heteros or bi's, I've known so many that to me they're just people, but I'm 99% heterosexual. ....the other 1% is the Abel factor, obviously.

*Dragon hug* :B
Well, I have to post here if only to get all the coming out of the closet jokes out of the way. Last I checked I'm hetero, and recently posted a thread slightly on that subject, and half the time I really can't tell what women see in us guys. Nothing against those who prefer the saner sex though.
And to re-start up a "closet" joke for just one second...
(Walks INTO a closet...now what does that make me, if coming OUT is gay? :erk)
Haha...seriously though, I'm straight, and have a boyfriend who is also straight, and everything.
Usually, I can't even tell who is gay if they're subtle enough. Some people have better gaydar than I do here, it seems, or they just like to really speculate. :3
But having grown up in a very diverse neighborhood (and city really), I've become tolerant of all kinds. My mom's best guy friend she had in high school is gay...and so was the guy she took me to in order to get my haircut all the time. One of my brother's friends is gay, still guy...I only know one girl who is, online, that I talk to alot without much care about it.
So, hey, rock on, ye people, for ye-all have a right to express yourselves however. :mowsmile
The thing that really irks me is the whole same-sex marriage issue. I think that it should stand to reason that whoever wants to get married, should be able to. Who should really give a speck about it anyway? Last I checked, the majority of people these days aren't "burn your body at the stake if you even think something heretic" religion-conscious.
I'm not looking to cause an argument...that's just the way I think. :rolleyes
Since this thread appears to have turned into stand-everyone-in-a-row-and-get-them-to-say-if-they're-gay-or-not, I guess it's my turn.
I am straight, but a computer geek and therefore hopeless at forming relationships. Like Slavkei and Toric, I'll admit that I've occasionally had infatuation, and I might add that DMFA characters like Abel don't help* :twisted
But as for actually going to bed with another guy? Ugh! You'd have to put a gun to my head first, I think.
*"Everyone is gay for Abel." -- Netami
What if I gave you a friendly Hug Jak? Does that help?
My sexuality is a rather perplexing affair which I haven't entirely figured out. I've had suspicions that I wasn't straight forever pretty much, although with a paranoid edge: I was afraid that I'd eventually figure out I am straight after all, and this whole affair of me questioning myself would turn out to be an elaborate ruse to hide my inability have normal relationships with the girls (ya, I'm male). Which is pretty terrible, really. I ended up rejecting feelings of infatuation towards women and reinforce those towards guys to try to prove to myself I was really wasn't straight, and not fooling myself. Some time later, I worked out I was probably asexual, and so this may be pretty moot. Regardless, I still do experience attraction for want of a better word, and I'm afraid to say my psychological contortions have left me on the gayer end of the spectrum*. Oh well. I still have a lot of work to do. For the moment, I'm 'bi-asexual', with slight male leaning.
*Not that that's a bad thing; I just think that in my case it's rather artificial.

I'm a bit more wary of bisexuals than gays. In my experience, they tend to cause pain... lots and lots and lots and lots of pain...

Its your cousin it shouldnt count. Its like kissing your granma, for me it is anyway.
I can kiss my cousin on the lips, she always did that when we were kids and I thought that was normal, One day she visited me in school and kissed me. My classmates asked me who she was then recoiled when I told them she was my cousin.

Fair enough, I suppose the unfaithful aspect of my girlfriend would have remained regardless of her sexual preference...
But really, there's a lot of stress just worrying about people your own gender stealing your mate. Can you imagine the stress involved when your mate could potentially leave you for nearly every person they come into contact with? It's a heavy weight, and it gets to the point where you don't even feel like saying "I told you so" when it really happens.
So I guess I really don't have anything against bisexuals... just unfaithfulness. *brings out a random sharp object* Destroy...

Exactly. Someone who is likely to cheat will cheat whether they are straight, gay, bi, or amoebasexual. Just because they're bi doesn't make them more likely to cheat. A straight person will just as easily find someone of the opposite sex to fornicate wildly with as a bisexual person will find someone of either gender to fornicate wildly with. Dont' blame it on bisexuality, blame it on the person in question being a butthole.
It seems you went through something quite upsetting there, DigitalMan. Knowing someone is unfaithful to you is sad since you can no longer trust them like you wish you could.
But Slav's right- it's not something you should generalise based on an experience like that. Blame the individual for what they've decided to do, not the group they happen to be in.
True, true. Really I have more gay and bisexual friends than straight ones. Perhaps that event just rattled something loose... Oh well, enough of my whining. That's what DA journal space is for.
As long as they're faithful, I have no problem with anyone preferring any gender.

The problem is not the group they're in, but which group you've selected them as part of.
In this case, they're part of the group "bi" and part of the group "unfaithful", and you're confusing the two groups. Or, at least, you were, until this thread :-)

No, no, it's okay. Actually, it's quite surprising because if you ever tried to hear me explain something when I'm speaking, you'd probably get lost within a second... :laugh
Oh, I doubt that. :-)
Not least, I grew up with 7 siblings, and running three or four concurrent conversations is something I've had a lot of practice at... I recall at least once or twice confusing others because myself and my oldest brother were having three independant conversations at the same time... :-)
