And yay! I actually managed to get to this first!

Wow. There is just no end to the whacky things that Mab does...
Actings as a Fae Child consultant? Wowsers.

Aww... Even the two other fae look awesome, but I have a feeling we won't see them again. Curse you Amber for even making the background characters awesome! CURSE YOUUUU!
I think the website title comment deserves a little VICTORY CANDESCENSE!
And the couple ... were they there the whole time, witnessing this little stomp-in?
The cake is a lie :erk
Quick-change artistry sounds like a neat thing to do. It's a little jarring to me to see Mab partially tie back her hair.
I see some people have been playing portal. That... kinda doesn't look like Mab though, so out of character.

Fae can teleport, or be in two places at once. Hence Rose's dellima and my crappy spelling.
Ahem.
Uh, this comic is very well-laid out and the panel proport--Aw, hell.

The suit actually suits Mab quite well.
When I first saw the page I was at a lost because I would have never imagine Mab in a buisness suit conducting buisness in a professional manner.

I'm more amused by the current message at the top of the front page, than I am by the comic itself.
"This was a triumph. I'm making a note here: HUGE SUCCESS!"
Teehee.
The last panel is awesome.
Now, theories: Anyone think the couple are Mab's father's friends? You know, the ones he willed his soul to? Mab might be doing the legal paperwork.
Either that or it's a closed auction and she's vetting all the bidders, is my guess...
Fae adoption is serious ****ing business.
no it isn't.
Quote from: GabrielsThoughts on October 19, 2007, 10:39:34 AM

But it pretends to be. And pretence
is serious business in the fae realm.
Anyway, since Mab says "Kids these days" to the couple, it is clear that they have seen Roses rant, so Mab is not doubling up the way Rose is.
When Rose did her door-kicking entrance some strips ago, Mab was wearing her normal clothes. Did Rose shock her out of her suit? Or did she don the suit now to try to get the meeting back to business? Enquiring minds want to know!

Adoption typically implies someone else has done the ****ing for you, so it's only Serious Business.
What is that? What is that? Is that a gun? Where are we going? Ohh, that thing has numbers on it. Eww, what's wrong with your legs? Do you smell something burning?
... god that game was fun. A sandbox mode (a la Garry's Mod) for Portal would be indescribably awesome.
Personally, I vote for Mind-Scape.
Just my thoughts on it.
Personally, I thought Mab looked kind of man-ish, which gets me thinking, all things considered, the Fae probably wouldn't have siblings, would they?
Also, since Rose recently got a name, I guess that means she might now be a random goer. As opposed to no name means, you might be done. Unless of course Amber is planning to step away from this 'comic stereotype'.
I'm only going to say the following because it just occurred to me:

Not quite. She said she wouldn't deny her the chance. That probably means that it's a private auction, and Nutmeg is welcome to bid.
But...But...But Nutmeg is the Queen! Wouldn't that be sort of like the Queen of England going to an auction, saying "OK, everyone, I'm wanting this thing here, but bid normal, I will just outbid you all for it."?

Yes, the Avatar show is quite good. The plot and charcater development are wonderfully deep, something you don't find much these days anymore. I've seen all of seasons 1 and 2, and I'm trying to get 3. I missed it's premeir, so I'm waiting for reruns.
The episodes are available on turbonick, though you'll have to shift through a lot of adverts for ot her programs, as wel las some other shows to get to the new avatar eps.
I was willing to watch them despite all the crap in betwen, but some of them refused to run properly at all, so I wound up having to find some torrents.
I didn't really want to, you mind, they just didn't give me any alternative, and I only did it for the last couple episodes of season 5, but now I'm all caught up. :3

Ah. That's different.

I'm wondering if the auction is for something other than money. After all, fae can create mountain of diamonds and gold if they want to. Could it be some sort of payment of karma or such? Just running the idea up the flagpole to see if it gets a salute or a machine gun attack.

A good thought and point. Perhaps there is some sort of specialty item/magic exchange? Such as what might be used for interdimensional travel and other such special things.

Well that answers something at least! Now we know why Albanian doesn't seek vengeance on Mab. He
fears her.
Although I suppose you could say something about wanting a child...
but I say no.
Which actually brings up another point. Nutmeg probably knew that Mab would run off in a tiff, the fact that she came back was only dictated by knowing she could get a swipe in on Nutmeg.
So it wasn't really practical. Plot convenient? Yes. But practical? no.

Hey, I didn't say some of them aren't worth watching. But a continuing storyline on something besides a soap opera or drama would be nice. Hence turning to comics and webcomics.
I remember the first time I heard of that being the difference between Anime and other cartoons, and I was all like "omg~ It's TRUE!!!"
