Uh oh. Looks like Wildy is mad.... after all, she did tell Biggs to stay out of Lost Lake because it is her territory :)
I forsee a +10 attack boost from Wildy's normal....
What's worse, she went into the tent- and hasn't come back out yet... :zombiekun2
Looks like someone pressed the Easy button.
But she's so short, no one noticed her. :<
I like how they don't even bat an eye at the large two-handed weapon appearing out of nowhere.
well no one in there right mind stops the bosses sister especially when she can beat the boss. that and the dropped weapon Mab found is probably form some one that tried.
In a different context, Mab's expression would be downright unnerving.
You know, hacking through the door and being all "Heeeeeere's MABBY!"
But that wouldn't be Mab. As it is... I actually foresee another anticlimax.
e: no. it's humor. nobody actually dropped anything. it's a reference. To what, I'll leave that up to someone who can think right now, since I can't.
Anyway... Wildy should've taken the voulge with her. It would've been handy for doing unspeakable things. Especially for dealing with Destania if she gets in the way.
D&D?
Hmm...I bet Biggs didn't count on Wildy showing up. He really ought to invest in guards for his tent. :rolleyes
Destania knows better than to get in Wildy's way, I think. She seems far too smart to interfere with a little sibling discussion.
It's actually proficiency, and no one other than the fighter types can use those. Class skill is for the abilities that you use outside of battle, or for certain special attacks to set up the enemy or avoid damage.
1.) That doesn't seem like Mab's usual self
2.) The gooney grin makes her look weird
3.) I *like* this new Psycho-Mab and attendant Psycho-Mab model

P.S. Do not make me choose between a Heeere's Mabby! wallpaper and a Pyroduck vs. Biggsowulf wallpaper.
Biggs is totally, utterly screwed. :mwaha
That will be all.
The question is, will we see what Wildy says to Biggs? Or will she just reappear looking smug?
... or come racing back out at high speed with Destania on her heels?
... only time will tell, indeed. :-)
Yikes...Well this is why I dont have a twin

I want to see what Wildy says to Destania.
Because Wildy is not old enough to remember Destania's maiden name, but is old enough to remember her.
Will we finally find out what her married name is?
isn't he though? also dropped weapons and items are pretty much standard in RPG's so there's no need to wonder about it.
And so the brave heroes return to Lost Lake, only for Alexsi to be attacked by Merlitz' uninformed ex-party, then get throttled somehow, some way and all is good again. Party :eager

Well, I'm not sure about the smoke, but there is the odd configuration of her antennae, facing in opposite directions... maybe that's madness? (Where, someone has speculated and I'm tempted to agree, touched together and forming a circuit means ebil, etc.)
Why does the sign say "exit"? Typically if you're facing a doorway leading into an area, it would say "entrance" as it is relative to the person walking into an area.

Maybe it's a one-way thing. Biggs may or may not have a lot of people to see; they can't be all bumping into each other through silly inefficient two-way doors.
Heh.

Well, maybe it's to specify that the other door is the entrance, and that one is the wrong way.
Now, why is the sign shaped like a trapezoid?
I would think that Wildy came into the exit instead of the entrance to get the jump on her brother in a classic "Big-huge-menacing-person-with-glowing-eyes-behind-a-teeny-person-with-a-sweatdrop-on-their-head" anime move. :mowtongue
I just LOVE the looks on hers and Mab's faces. This comic is a +10 in coolness. Level up! :U
Methinks Mab isn't quite up to date with what really happens when you finish a mission- you get experience points! :boogie
Sometimes you get money and items too. That must've been a weapon quest.
It's only loot if you actually took it off someone's corpse. Otherwise it's a reward.
...Mab apparenly doesn't get that if you don't either open a chest or beat a monster, you don't get items, and a +2 voluge? C'mon, at their level, I wouldn't even pick that up, I'd just leave it on the ground!

Not entirely true. Anyone can use any weapon just not very well. Many times I have had thieves dress as warriors to not standout in a large battle. Watch your back. A battle axe works even better than a dagger in the back when you can get surprise.

Actually, I'd say it's not a knit-pick, but simply a lack of knowledge of art. Most drawings are done using something called "perspective". When you draw lines that are part of a wall, building, door, window, etc, you draw them so that they are are pointing towards a single point. This gives the illusion of distance. Good on Amber for using it here.
Train to zone! Outta the way, it's one wickedly mad ferret!

See thats one thing I liked about the fallout rpgs there were no Item drops If you want to get loot you actualy have to take it off the corpses, and you'll only find stuff there that makes sense. If your attacked by slavers you'll only find the sorts of items on them that they use, Pistols, shotguns, knives, clubs, cattle prods, drugs, water bottles, rope, nuke cola, and the like.
you don't find some one carrying items they don't use, which can be a real pain when the enemies break out the heavy artilery
Also, it can't be a WoW reference as far as I know, WoW has fixed items, as opposed to normal items with +2 stuff. The only instances I can think of is DnD-based games or Diablo..
For why the sign shows Exit instead of Entrance: so people will use the entrance instead of the exit to go in. Else you'd have a door with no signage at all.. and people will end up using it anyway because it's convenient.
For why the Exit word is weirdly tilted, it's probably the exit-sign maker's lack of artistic sense, or someone really messed up when painting those words.
The smoke is probably to show Wildy's expertise in property destruction (since they're probably walking away from Bigg's building now, and the wall seems right, I'd say that it's Bigg's place which is burning.. which is rather fast work for property destruction..)

It made Fallout really munchkin, because pretty much any dangerous enemy was going to give you tons of expensive equipment to sell or use. Even if you didn't *try* to scum for cash, the only limit on your wealth, even very early on in the game, was the total amount of money all the merchants you could find had.

I don't know why I think this but I've got the strong feeling Pyro is pulling a miroku... as in resting his hand on Alexis's butt in that scene
Now that you mention it, I agree wholeheartedly. And that could explain why Alexsi is unusually calm about Mab's goofiness.
"There's that hand again."
It would explain the swing of her hips, I guess.... *snerk*

Pyro has far more restraint then that, he is a tad bit more subtle... but he would be happy to see her...
It makes most sense that Wildy is causing it - look that the wall the "Exit" door is in. They're walking away from it, back towards Lost Lake, in the third panel....
At first I thought Mab's brain broke - The smoke is reeaally close, the antenna are funny, and she pulls a random item out of thin air with a funny face and comment.
I notice Wildy looked up as she passed by Alexsi. Guess that's her way of saying, "Hi Alexsi, wait while I kill my brother after warning him not to mess with me or my friends."

isn't he though? also dropped weapons and items are pretty much standard in RPG's so there's no need to wonder about it.
The thing to wonder about is why the goblin who's carrying a +1 Mithril Shirt, doesn't use it.
Because the DM rolled treasure after the battle, instead of thinking out the encounter.

Funny, I spent a couple hours looking at those related logic puzzles after I used wikipedia to make sure i used the right version of Monty's last name.
