Poor Yak(ovlev). It's pretty obvious that his mother was the 'Cubi of the couple so you have to wonder where she went during this whole thing.

Now I'm starting to wonder if we should have expanded on it more.  Maybe I should look at writing his early backstory.  The trouble is that although it has some interesting moments which are not really shown in this page it kind of peters out when he gets to SAIA.  But it might be worth attempting for an 8-page short or something...

That would be super cool! Another nice short backstory piece, and covering something like that would be interesting
