Hey hello everyone, I would like to apologize if this post doesn't belong in this section, but I have a request from any sprite artists. I am really in need of an original sprites for each character of Soma, Julius, Alucard and Yoko from Castlevania Harmony of Despair, Mina, Hammer and Arikado from Castlevania AOS/DOS, creating an old age between 40-50 version of Jonathan Morris, old age between 40-50 version of Charlotte Aulin and Death from Castlevania POR, Olrox with a similar outfit like how Jbetbrice had done at the first place as you saw it in CV dungeon which Olrox is actually wearing his own purple color with yellow color lines king cape as his exterior outfit. Here's the link of the yellow color lines king cape as Olrox's new exterior outfit. "http://castlevaniadungeon.net/forums/index.php/topic,4781.30.html". Whereas for his interior outfit, has the same exact as you saw him wearing in Castlevania SOTN and Saint Germain from Castlevania COD with sprite sheet version and some NEW character sprites from my fan-game storyline, Castlevania: Souls of Sorrow. Most of the Castlevania fans over the IGN which I posted about what "Castlevania: Souls of Sorrow" was all about and what's the reason I made that fan-game storyline for, were kept on demanding about creating some new sprite sheets in order to show them and prove to them that my fan-game storyline of Castlevania: Souls of Sorrow is actually EXIST. Here are some of the NEW characters sprite sheets request from one of the biggest fans of Castlevania such as myself.

The 7 Divisions of the Immortal Vampires who works under King Olrox.

Shadow- A rage 24 years old young boy with short spiky blue hair, blue fringe, some black tattoos on his face, black singlet, black color shoes, black color jeans, wearing 3-4 necklaces around his neck and dark black color flames on his both hands.

Maximo- He is thin with some muscular on his physical body appearance, shirtless, 27 years old, a long red punk hair that has the same length as Joe Higashi from Fatal Fury , cool, arrogant and a selfish gangster punk looking guy with much tattoos on his whole body, brown color jeans, white color shoes and a black bandana on his forehead area.

Zamelia- A beautiful lady with a long pink hair, blue eyes, a purple color on her lips and a mole on her left cheek of the beauty spot. Apparently, she has the same age with Yoko Belnades. She wears a black greek costume of a female warrior, due to her family generation from the past and similar to Sophitia's and Cassandra's costume from Soul Calibur. She who wields a great rapier and a strong shield to defend herself who stands in her way. (Maybe you can use this song to give you more strength and inspires you more to create a sprite sheet more about her!) Devil May Cry 4: The Viper (ECHIDNA combat)

Chibi- A cute little vampire girl with a mix color of black and white maiden costume that has the same age as Mina Hakuba, apparently. Pink color eyes, maiden shoes with black shoe and a white long socks on her legs, a black color fashionable headband with a big black rose on her headband as well. (similar to this picture "http://www.polyvore.com/luxury-shops.com_chanel_headband/thing?id=7808520") She who wields a deadly black umbrella and ability to summon her own favorite 5 huge "deadly pets" which are bear, horse, rabbit, bird and dragon too.

Abuwa- A clumsy fat vampire man at the age of 40-50 years old who really loves to eat chicken and he can't live without chickens in his life. He has a brown mohawk hairstyle color, brown mustache, brown beard and wearing a waiter costume as his attire with black slacks and black shoes (similar to this picture "http://www.tipsuniforms.com/tips/catalog/popup_image.php?pID=229"). He who wields a deadly poisonous vomit until to extend of creating a sea of deadly vomit and ability to crush anything he wish to destroy it. Just becareful, do NOT make him mad and steal his chickens while he enjoying eating chickens with good appetites.

Leo Narcadia- A silent person mysterious immortal vampire who wears a pure white hoodie with a plain white mask, black gloves on his hands and a black boots on his legs. His age is unknown and he was once living in a pure miserable and pure suffering kind of life when he was still alive in 1999 where he was suppose to be dead. His attitude, his voice, his power and much more, are very similar to one of the villains from Metal Gear Solid, Psycho Mantis. He uses the opera songs and his deadly huge amount of collectable puppets by using strings in order to control the puppets as his deadly precious weapon to kill people who stand in his way. Plus, he has the ability to control people's body, mimic someone's voice, use strings to beak on the back of the victims to suck blood in order to refill his health and read people's mind as well. He is kind of hard to fight with. (Maybe you can use this song to give you more strength and inspires you more to create a sprite sheet more about him too!) "http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nlgh6Rh0mPk" and "http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W_B12n6YUEU"

Virex- A cool tall gentleman captain among of all the 7 Divisions of Immortal Vampires who has a long spiky red hair, red beard, a black costume that has similar to one of the awesome cool characters, Johnny from Guilty Gear "http://www.fightersgeneration.com/characters2/johnny-toosweet.jpg". He who wields such deadly Yamato sword and his sword is as fast as "crissaegrim" and "valmanway". Apparently, he has been told that he was influenced by the Japanese culture. He is very hard to fight with and kind of annoying too. During in a midst of any battlefield he had ever been to, he always keep yawning and feel very sleepy simultaneously. Apparently, he is a type of a person who doesn't even care about anything of what happens around him. His own favorite quotes "Just keep it cool. Alright."

However, I don't do any commission paid upon any artist and I just would like to find any artist that can help me to create and design some new sprite sheet characters for fun and without getting paid simply because the purpose of me making this project is for fun, supporting and bringing back our old beloved Castlevania 2D gameplay with HD graphics back to it's throne. I would be really happy and feel very much appreciated if you could create some new sprite sheet characters as I've mention above here. All in all, are you interested and willing enough to help me out to create and design some new sprite sheet characters for my fangame of Castlevania: Souls of Sorrow?  :eager

Darkmoon

Okay, dude, seriously, here's the deal:

1) You either "are" or "are not" making a Castlevania fan-game. In one thread you say it's "just for fun" and you expect that "it'll never happen", but then you come in here asking for help with your vanity project -- help, bear in mind, that you don't want to pay for.

2) Sprite artists are impossible to find nowadays. Having run a sprite comic for the better part of a decade at this point, one that uses custom sprites for just about all the major characters, I can tell you from experience that finding anyone to help at all is hard, and finding someone to devote the time needed to make entirely new sprite-sheets (or sheet edits) is damn near impossible.

3) If this really is a project you're dead set on following, your first goal -- before all this planning, and story writing, and everything else -- is to find a group of like-minded people interested in working on fan-game. Any fan-game. It might not be the one you want to work on. heck, it's probably better if it isn't a game you really want to see happen, and are just there to participate with a group of fans to make some random game.

Why: because the project will never happen. If you start with a project you care about, the disappointment from it's failure will be crushing. It's better to work on some fun little trifle everyone can have a good time with but that no one is too devoted too just so that when it fails -- and it will fail -- you have the desire to try again with something new.

If and when you finally get a team of people together than can put together a game -- and not fight with each other, storm off, fall apart, or disappear before the project is completed -- you might just have a team that can one day work on the game you actually want to work on.

4) If you're going to share your various materials for this game (that will never happen, sorry to disappoint), please do so in one thread. Please do not clutter the forum with various threads all about the same topic.

Yes I am actually making a fan-game storyline of Castlevania: Souls of Sorrow currently and it is still in a progression right now. But nevermind, don't worry about it. I've found my new Sprite Artist from one of my deviantARTs friends. For your information, Castlevania: Souls of sorrow which is a fan-made that was made by myself and was created for the purpose of supporting and bringing back our old beloved gameplay system of Castlevania 2D back to the Castlevania fans needs and wants with HD graphics, exclusively for PS Vita or Nintendo 3DS instead. This would be my first ever attempt to create a successful project in order to satisfy to all Castlevania fans needs and wants since Koji Igarashi haven't made any move to produce another new Castlevania game. Nevertheless, this would be my fan-made cover artwork box as a way to express my wish for a new Castlevania at the same time.

Here's the cover artwork box that I've made recently.

IMPORTANT: I would be more happier if you would like to read my storyline that I've done and give your own feedback about it. So far, I've already done Chapter 1 until Chapter 3 and Chapter 4 still in under progression currently.

Chapter 1- http://djrunza.deviantart.com/gallery/#/d4v2rfa (80% complete and I shall finish it if I do have my free time.)

Chapter 2- http://djrunza.deviantart.com/gallery/#/d4v6a2g

Chapter 3- http://djrunza.deviantart.com/gallery/#/d4w06ku

Remember my friend, I won't take this as a garbage, I'll take this as a promising fan-made storyline which continues the Dawn of Sorrow saga and we are still under progression. I'll do my very best to actually working on it along with my friends as well. For some hardcore Castlevania fans such as myself and my other friends, we are doing this project with a lot of patient, passionate, ambitious, etc. Hope you understand DarkMoon. :)

I've seen it. I've looked over it. I'm happy you found an artist that apparently will work for free and is willing to put together your vision.

Your game will never happen. That's not to be mean, that's not to try and "shit" all over your vision (although, if I'm being honest, I'm not exactly impressed by what I've seen). The simple fact is that for all the fan games I've seen crop up that supposedly are "actively in development" and "totally gonna happen", I can count on one hand the number of fan games I've seen that have actually come to anything... and none of them were Castlevania fan games.

Thank you DarkMoon, I really appreciate it.

Currently, I have two options left for my project of Castlevania: Souls of Sorrow, which is,

1) Whether to make this project as a fan-game which includes some buttons to perform any attacks like we saw in Castlevania Serio's fighting game and we have to control the player of the character in order to explore and move on with the gameplay,

OR

2) Whether to make this project as a fan-made storyline which includes with movies, dialogues, scenes, voice system, special effects etc. like we saw this on Youtube without we control the player which means we just take a sit anywhere, take some popcorn and enjoy throughout the movie. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Art_9sQiykk

Darkmoon

Right, yes. I get that's your plan. Good luck to you with that plan.
