Balade, just a note: the FLV file format is more a movie container, like mov or avi, than a .swf file. The thing is, it is mostly used in flash files. You would need a demuxer to decode it.  The FFMpeg library has one. In fact, I can play .flv files directly in QuickTime using the Perian Codec. And if QuickTime can play it, QuickTime can encode it into a different codec. :D

And YouTube should be able to decode flv files, since they did use them for quite some time.
Get out of my mind, idea!  I already have an idea in here!
Don't you hate it when you have an idea, don't write it down, and forget it?

Since Ngurad is best known on the JAVGW chat, I figured I'd put this notice here:

I heard from Nguard (from Iraq) this weekend. He and his troops are all doing well. He mentions that his internet access has improved, but is still not adequate for joining in on the fun times had at JAVGW. He also stated that anyone interested in saying "hi" to him should use the CMF PM utility to do so, as his military email address has a tendency to be "temporary." I have Nguard's snail-mail address if anyone wants to send a letter/card or care package to him or his troops. PM me here and I'll gladly pass it on.

On Topic: After the initial fail of getting both balade's and Mao's cast to run in the simulcast, I thought it was a bit of a success. Although balade's stream was about 20 seconds behind Mao, it was interesting to see both player's perspective of the game. I wouldn't mind seeing that again.
Heroic adventuring at the speed of slow.
Never mistake kindness as a sign of weakness.
Not a complete idiot, parts missing.

Dropping Proeliator from the name was way overdue.
