Creation Game

In this game we will be building a universe/multiverse. So we don't end up with an unbalanced amount of heroes side, please create a "villain"/criminal for every hero. It doesn't need to be a hero and his nemesis/archenemy however. They can be completely unrelated.  Also the hero/villain can be an organization. Also the hero/villain can be an organization of any size  or even a race (races, same as villains, doesn't need to have an accompanying "partner" unless it specifically stated the race is either totally good or totally villainous/criminal, which should be VERY rare).

Note that this isn't about the playing but rather about the creating, participation will be by creating characters and so don't worry if you are short on time, sign up and if you don't have time when it's your turn, simply post a short "pass" and it's the next participants turn. Please don't feel you have to put "what the universe needs" above what you would have enjoyed playing however. If you base a character on a existing comic book (or other media) character please do a bit more then change their name.

When someone signs up they will be given a turn number which tells when it is their turn to put a new character into the world. As such if you want to be leave (don't want to even want to pop in and say "pass") please say so you can be put on the inactive list (if you rejoin you will get a new turn number).

Please don't go claiming titles such as "greatest mind on earth". It is ok with "one of the greatest minds on earth" though.

Tinkering heroes and mad scientists are okay as this is intended to be a superhero world.

Leave some openings for reasons others have to fix something beyond that they set it loose or that the big local superhero is away. (eg. The "why is hero X fighting monster Y in Metropolis when Superman lives there?" scenario)

Please don't use weaknesses as reasons for a character to have both cosmic/universal level enemies and "barely above human" level enemies, or at least make it something better then kryptonite and that doesn't have him/her bouncing between the two. There should be a level at which the character belongs. Also please don't make any characters that aren't allowed to be stopped aka Galactus syndrome ("eats planets but can't be stopped or the universe gets destroyed").

Operational breadth

- City block

- City

- State

- Country

- Planet

- Solar system

- Star cluster

......

- Galaxy

- Universe

- Interdimensional-dimensional  - Not people from a different dimension but people who operate in atleast two dimensions, basicly treating dimensions as countries on a international scene, and having home in one and "working" in the other counts.

- Cross-chronal - (as abovebut with time, this is people who operate in atleast two times)

I have put cross-dimensional and cross-chronal in the list simply to mention them as heroes on that scale usually take on an air of that the more local heroes aren't doing things right or even are doing something wrong because they don't see the big picture. And even on the Galaxy scale heroes/villains take up a pretty big chunk of the ecosystem since after all there won't be 2 galactic overlords (power in the whole galaxy), and even more so on the universal scale.

True to this, please tell where your character operates and do so by name (I don't think any of us are so well versed in astronomy that they will be annoyed by people "creating" new star systems. Be aware though that star systems with naturally inhabitable planets should be somewhat spread out.)

Earth will be at the current technological level at least (it may be further along if some smart characters are selling inventions to get funding or something).

If someone has posted something you want to adapt one of your characters to, this is ok but please check so it doesn't create (too much) of a domino effect ,if too many heroes/villains join an organization it might even create a war or eventually force the society to turn their eyes outward (tho this later isn't a necessarily a bad thing "game" wise). It will be counted as a turn and should be a new post. This shouldn't be needed however if the players have properly fitted their characters into the universe.

Feel free to comment on posted characters or the presentation format.

Post window will be 3 days and then it's next participants turn. the participant who missed his/her turn can of course put in that character next turn. If you feel you need more then the allotted time, just say "pass" and use the time till your next turn.
