When "negotiating" with Fa'Lina, who wouldn't shield their mind?

Actually, this raises a good point.  Is she going to pick up on Abel being there?

He himself probably has a mindshield up because of all the 'cubi at the academy, but I think that Fa'lina knows Abel is there, either by mental ability or by foresight.

The answer is foresight. They haven't been away from the academy long enough for Fa'lina to lose forsight of the situation, so she knows Abel will return and planned the conversation accordingly.
