Tasmanian Devils have been heavily attacked by an infectious cancer called "Devil facial tumour disease" or DFTD.

Ah, quite interesting.  That states the cancer cells in all the animals have the same genes, meaning they originated from a single Tasmanian Devil that had cancer.
