Dear IF,

It's awfully nice of you to answer my questions this close to Christmas. Perhaps I should hold off on asking any more for a couple of days, so that everyone has a chance to catch up. No?

Ah, well. So. You don't necessarily have to plan happiness, but it helps to remember it, doesn't it?
How much wood would a wood-chuck chuck if a wood-chuck could chuck wood?
What does Lenore do, these days?
Have you played Dead Space?
Are you planning things for later this week?
Are you on an intergalactic cruise in your office?
Do people consider you saner than an emu on acid?

Dear IF, I'm warning you in advance. Please try not to miss your lunch before you read these questions.

Only those options for tea? Oh, I need to show you my tea collection, you'll see there's a lot more to tea than that. And in fact jasmine tea can be green or oolong, or sometimes even black/red. Will you be coming to Argentina someday so I can show you?

Also, I don't think you live in China, so if your Chinese restaurants really serve Chinese food, I'll be surprised. They usually serve whatever they've made up out of the local ingredients.

OK, let's switch to meals from a different location. What kinds of Indian food have you tried, if any? Did you like them?

What other countries have you tried food from?

Do you like the food from your own country?

How can you ask your IF? Do you know who s/he is already?

You missed one of my questions.

What's the most common reason for you to stay up late?

Why do people acquire unhealthy habits?

Quote from: Gabi's Invisible Friend
I hardly ever miss!

Well... other than the odd question buried in a large stack. Speaking of, all the time!

Only those options for Chinese tea, as served in Chinese restaurants.  The options available are far more complex and varied - although, please, go ahead and show me what you know. I'm not sure if I can make it to Argentina, but I'd like to, someday.

Don't all restaurants serve up food they've made out of local ingredients? It'd be far too expensive to ship all the food from overseas; what people go there for is the style of cooking, not the specific ingredients, I'd have thought.

Several kinds, but mostly local replicas of Indian dishes. I enjoyed the southern dishes; the northerly ones tended towards too much spice, which you've got to get used to, over time.

Lots of different places. I could sit down and make a list, if you like, but I suspect that might be giving things away. :)

I like all sorts of food.

I don't need to know who my IF is to ask them a question, do I? I mean, all I have to do is pass the question on. And yes, I believe I do.  Although I'll wait and see.

You're so very right, I did. I'll fix that right now.

Being busy working. Not always on work, but focusing on something.

Bad planning? They seemed like a good idea at the time? They were fun?

Any or all of the above?

Do you have a favorite music artist?

Do you like puzzles?
Have you ever heard of the Icehouse game pieces?

Hey there! This looks more like a discussion than an IF game by now.

To be honest I'd really like to try some of the foods they serve in China. The cooking style changes a lot when you start replacing ingredients. As for teas they serve in Chinese restaurants, here some of them also serve cold dongua tea, which in my opinion is quite good, although they sweeten it a bit too much (which I don't think they do when they drink it themselves). I've only seen them sweeten cold teas, though. But I was complaining about their red tea with coffee. I really love tea (which you already know), but I don't like coffee at all.

I have lots of teas from many different places and many different varieties. Yesterday my brother came from the US and gave me a great surprise by bringing me Lipton Blueberry and Pomegranate White Tea. I don't have enough time to list all the teas I have. They take up most of my cupboards.

OK, I'll ask a question because it's what I'm supposed to do. How are you feeling these days?

Dear IF,

I doubt I could, considering we're in two different locations and I'm not about to share mine.

Moving on, what do you think of the fact that, currently, the thread title still says "Sign up for Round 52?"
Do you think we'll ever get more players than the four we normally have?
Do you think the box will be a repeat player?
Which movie did you last see?
Which movie did you last enjoy tremendously (relative to most other movie experiences of yours)?
Do you like hats?

Quote from: Gabi's Invisible Friend
You say that as if it's a bad thing...

Oh, sure. Eating in the country where the foods are originally from is always different, and well worth the effort... if you can get there in the first place. On the other hand, there are often places where you can find excellent food cooked locally, if you know where to look. And I'm inclined to agree with you with respect to coffee, with just one objection - sometimes, if the coffee is made exceptionally well, you can get an extremely nice cup of coffee. Sadly, most cups of coffee are worse than dishwater.

That was very nice of your brother. Did you thank him appropriately?

I'm feeling good. In fact, things have been good enough that I'm tempted to quote Peanut.

Dear IF,

Yes, I did. I thanked him so much he said he didn't expect me to be that happy with his gift. :)

Oh, well, apparently Internet in my room hardly ever works, but at least I can use the dining room computer, which is public but I trust I can get ahold of it once a day and check this game. Let's see the bright side. Besides, I'm having a great time in Ushuaia.

A, a box. What a surprise. ;-]

So... what did you get for Christmas? Anything good?
What is your favourite colour? Or favorite, if you prefer.
What is your favourite number?
What is the airspeed of a laden swallow?

More seriously, as if anything I say is serious, what timezone do you live in?
Are you enjoying the Christmas weather?
Do you get snow for Christmas?
Are you any good at complex mathematics?

Quote from: Gabi's Invisible Friend
The glass? There are three options:
The negative outlook: The glass is half-empty.
The positive outlook: The glass is half-full.
The winning outlook; the world belongs to these folks:
"This is not my glass. My glass had more in it. Furthermore, it was a larger glass!"

I'm partial to the third. In fact, I'm partial to a fifth, but I'll settle for a third if I must.

I'll try. A quantity can be divided into several smaller quantities. You put them one after the other and you get an array. That's how a quantity divided can be an array.

That's a very good picture. Did you have fun drawing it?
Are you planning on drawing more, or just stopping there?
Have you enjoyed the game so far?

Popping out of my anti-Internet zone to toss some last questions at my partner. And so!

Dear IF,

Do you like teh shinies?
If so, do you prefer shiny pokemon more, less, or the same as generic shiny things.
Does hugging unnerve you or do you find it enjoyable?

If the Internet were to shut down, would you still have a job?

Wow, that's a really cool drawing! Thanks! And you've used 256 unique colors! Although to be honest I can't distinguish them. Can you?

Why are you so sure that I know who you are?

Last time I played I knew who everyone's IFs were, but this time I've been mostly occupied with other things (my vacation not being the least of it) so I haven't paid enough attention. Do you [think you] know?

What exactly is a PC? (I know I'm using one right now, but exactly what makes a computer a PC is a bit blurry; no, being 'personal' is not it).

Do you have a Facebook account? Because if you do, you can see the photos of my vacation on my profile. I've made them visible to all my CM friends (and some other friends too).

Ah, see, I've only used two. Well, one, and a background color. The image format, on the other hand...

It seemed fairly obvious to me. Perhaps I've overestimated you? I don't think so, though. Besides, I wasn't really hiding who I was all that well.

I know who my VF is, if that helps. I'm fairly sure who my IF is. And that's about the limit of where I've been paying attention myself, so that's about all I know.

PC? Well, that depends on if you mean Postal Clerk, Pacific Comics, Package Coordinator, Packet Classifier, Panama Canal, Panama City, Paper Change, Paradise City, Parish Council, Partial Correlation, Patch Cord, Path Control, Patrol Craft, Payload Commander, Peace College, Peace Corps, Peaches & Cream, Peer Counselor, Peg Count, Penalties Committed, Penn Central, Pentagon City, People's Court, Pepsi Cola, Per Capita, Peripheral Controller, Personal Carer, Personal Contact, Personnel Carrier, Petroleum Coke, Petty Cash, Phase Change, Philco Corporation, Philippine Constabulary, Phoenix College, Phone Call, Photonic Crystals, Physical Conditioning, Piano Concerto, Pickering College, Pierce College, Pierre Cardin, Pierson College, Pilot in Command, Pipeline Crossing, Plaid Cymru, Planning Commission, Planning Council, Plasma Cell, Plastic Conduit, Platoon Commander, Player Character, Pocket Calculator, Poet's Corner, Pointe Coupee, Pokemon Center, Police Cruiser, Police Constable, Politically Correct, Polymer Concrete, Pony Club, Port Charles, Port Charlotte, Port Complex, Port Coquitlam, Portable Chassis, Positive Control, Post Coital, Postal Code, Potential Carcinogen, Powder Coating, Power Converter, Prayer Corner, Precast Concrete, Predicate Calculus, Preferred Carrier, Prerequisite Course, Presbytarian Church, Presbytarian College, Presidential Classroom, Press Conference, Prestressed Concrete, Primary Care, Prime Contract, Prince Caspian, Prince Charming, Principal Component, Principia College, Printed Circuit, Prior Certification, Prism-Convex, Prisoner in Custody, Privacy Council, Private Chat, Private Contractor, Privileges Committee, Privy Council, Probability of Collision, Probable Cause, Process Controller, Procurement Clerk, Producers Conference, Productivity Commission, Profit Centre, Program Coordinator, Progress Check, Project Code, Propagation Criterion, Proprotein Convertase, Protective Custody, Providence College, Provisional Cost, Proximate Cause, Psychrometic Chart, Public Citizen, Public Convenience, Pulsating Current, Pulse Compression, Pulverized Coal, Punched Card, Purchase Card, or, of course, Pussy Cat.

I'm afraid you're just going to have to be more specific. ;)

Facebook? I shall have to get one of those, then, so I can see your photos. Unless that's a little creepy, of course.

Block Open, I think. At least until now.
