I just got back from the dentist yesterday, at least three reasonably healthy teeth and possibly as many as six will be forcibly ripped from my jaw while i am still awake.

fun, with a possibility of partial dentures to follow

also, on the topic of loss, the hair i have not cut in five years since the day before i got married will be unceremoniously snipped off so that i may apply for security guard positions. its better then poverty and eviction i guess, but ill certainly miss having hair that reaches the bottom of my shoulder blades



anyone know a way to improve self image?

Slightly less tongue-in-cheek, I'd suggest making the snip ceremonious, and burying the poor rats tail somewhere, with a small funeral. It might help you feel better, and I'm sure Eowyn would find it amusing.

And I'm sure the teeth aren't all that healthy. Why were they wanting to pull them?

already cut the hair, went in the trash, eowyn took a picture

it backfired, instead of a pony tail i now have a poodle poof


theyre broken, not rotted, so they are quite firmly attached. usually teeth that are pulled have rotted loose and are easily removed as only the nerve root holds them

Holy cow Brun.. =( It just keeps getting worse... Well, except for the whole job thing, it is better than being homeless...  Hopefully it'll work out for you.

Teeth thing happened to my mom, she had almost all her front top teeth pulled. She now has what you said you'll have to get. And the worst part, the ones pull weren't rotted or broken.

Anyway, I've usually found that enough novocaine will prevent you from feeling much of anything. Then again, my roots aren't 100% set yet so...yeah. But I did once have some serious work done to correct an impacted 12-year molar, awake with novocaine and I didn't feel a thing.
Jeez I need to update this thing.

hotel security, biggest threats are being barfed on or hit on by partying drunks, paid in cash, might be able to use the weight room on my days off, and i may double my pay if i get licenced to use a handgun

As for the money, I'd recommend getting licensed to use a handgun... and get a lock, and a safe. That would be helpful, I think.
