Officially not. "To this date there isn't even a Were on the Creature-Being council." Unless you assume there's a disguised one in the council.

True. Nothing is for certain about the ones in the shadows. I should have probably have said maybe instead.

But in #366: Hard to lurk in shadows when your hair is on fire. One of the members shares some traits that can be seen on the outline of the shadow that are simular to the character that is repersented in Demo 101 the were-race.

But your point holds true as well.

Who's talking about what? There are two councils, the Creature Council, and the Creature-Being Council (CC and CBC). Page 366 is the Creature Council, and page 287 is the Creature-Being Council

We're not entirely sure if they're the same organisation or different...

I think the ones in the shadows are more of a secret group llike what we sometimes think when we here of government conspiracy.

While the other is the more public government which all the people know but only some think its their true government representative.

I was referring to the Creature council that hides in the shadows.

Dan, like Al, has been dead before and risin from the grave. Cannon or not, if Dan bites the big one He will come back to "smite him so far past heaven and hell that he'll come back as puss." <----Now that's puss, as in the bacteria in pimples not puss, like puss in boots.

I like the quote, where'd you get it?

I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks that character looks familiar, though I didn't make the connection with the Were in the demonology page until you mentioned it...  I see it now, but my original assumption was a completely different character >_> <_<

It's a little sad that Regina loves Kria so much and showed that she cared about her in the last comic by showing concern over her being left with Dan, but then seems to have forgotten about her so quickly.  Though it's not unexpected.  Even her love for Kria seems to be based purely in selfishness.

Sorry to mess up the topic but, I've played and beat most of the Zelda games but I don't recognize that reference.
I'm back, and tired.

The_one_who_is_odd

Hmmm.... What about the Ice cream though? She lost track of her ice cream

PinkKitty

Yup... it is easy to tell Kria and Regina are related... both seem to have a particularly slowly aging mind. Kria said that a demon's "age freezes in their 20s"... for Kria and Regina it feels more like their age has frozen at like... 10 years old or something. XD A level of impatience so extreme, it is even worse than your average teenager's!

Well she is evil and childish and short sighted and has zero attention span so why , oh why , do I still think she is cute ???  :U

Glutton for punishment with bad taste in women?

Hey, just because some of us think she's cute, doesn't mean we'd be willing to overlook her other (evil and immature, etc.) traits.

Quote from: Jairus on April 11, 2009, 08:48:13 AMActually... now that I think about it, have we even met any angels in DMFA? I mean, I know we've only seen five dragons (one in a non-canon arc), so I know this idea of dragons all being a bunch of jerks isn't totally backed up by the comic due to the small sample size. For that matter, aside from the creature council, have we ever seen a Mer or Insectis? Have we ever seen a Were in-comic? That's weird: thanks to the Demonology pages, we know about a bunch of Races that really haven't shown up.

Oh we did see Angels when going to talk with about DP way back in the first mission we saw to fight DP. They were the guy on the chair who was presented by the other angel as a wise and all knowing person, while actually being scared of the room and his assistant. I guess the woman angel was actually the person with all the brains and he was just the window dressing. Just like what Amber said angels use usually more under the table methods to acquire their power. Then again it might be an entirely different reason for that situation.

As for the others. I haven't seen any others of those particular races except in the counsel.
I think even a Were might have been present in the counsel meeting.

Well, they had wings.  I didn't really think about it when I read that during my archive dive, they have wings, Dan has wings, Aliyka has wings, no big deal.    Yeah, they could be Angels. Or they could some Being/Creature hybrids, or Cubi, for that matter.

What 287 shows is the Legal Council, which exist to try adjudicate disputes between Creatures and Beings.   Doesn't work very well, which is why adventures exist.

Creature Council;
page 366 panel one - Mer
page 366 panel two - Fae
page 366 panel three - ?
page 366 panel four - Phoenix (A)
page 367 panel one - Insectis, Undead? (looks like Rachel-Rebecca the Third)
page 367 panel two - Succubus

Seeing a pendant on his chest, panel 3 could possibly be Biggs, though the face looks a bit too flat. Maybe it's a were in human form.

Are weres in Furrae confirmed to have a human form or could they have just some other being form different from their were (feral animal) form?

Well, the demonology seems to be saying those three forms.

It's pretty obvious that its Biggs or Destania- A short person with Bigg's old hairstyle and a "B" pendant, lying back in their chair, doing that finger thing that Biggs does, and wearing his headband.  Odds are pretty good it's Biggs- or Destania impersonating him so that he can do something else.  The Cubi is a a cat cubi because cats are the only ones that Amber draws with flat faces, and the Fae is Albanion.  The weird thing though, is that its the creature council, not the evil council.  There's no way it makes sense to let beings that rule creature lands go to their secret meetings.

It's not clear enough to make out Bigg's pendant. It could just as easily be Hahwru's medallion, and the headband matches hers exactly.

Though Biggs does have a known link to the Creature Council (see 479).

Through Kria at the very least.  Kria and Biggs are on speaking terms enough to have a discussion about politics and the future, but we can't infere more than that from 479.

Buhamet

How much is actually known about the council as a whole?

I keep thinking it as being something akin to the UN, except for species and so on

although if that were so, why the secrecy? why is everyone in darkness, leaving only their blackened outlines to do the talking?

are they just taking advantage of cheap lighting by having the pheonix as the only light source, or did they just not buy any lightlbulbs, because I keep thinking them as being more evil than any good
