Alrighty....given that every has different viewpoints, I'd like to see what song YOU might think of when looking at a character, or what song reminds of you of a char, etc.  Basically, what do you think would be a good theme song for him/her?

Mine:

Jyrras:         "Blinded Me With Science" by  Thomas Dolby
Abel:           "SexyBack" by Justin Timberlake
Dan:           "Kryptonite" by 3 Doors Down
Merlitz:       "So What!?" by Pink (in terms of context  :P)
Fa'Lina:      "Killer Queen" by Queen
Lorenda:    "Baby Got Back" by Sir Mix-a-Lot
Mab:           (Not sure...I know the song, but not the name :P)

Anyone else?  or opinions on what I gave out?
"TEETH!  TEETH!  He's a biter!!!"
Go get'em, Jy!

Pancakes.  The evilest food thing since THOSE brownies.  You know the ones.

Currently a complete non-fan of Mab.  Say what you will, I will forever consider her the Big Bad >.>

A few i can think of right now... after just hearing them...

Abel: Ashes - Pepper
Dan: Big Balls - ACDC  (at least for everything pre-meeting regina again...)
Jyrras: Teenage Dirtbag - Wheatus
Regina: Crazy B**** - Buck Cherry (best i could find for now... the chorus seems pretty accurate though :P)
Merlitz: Let it Rock - Kevin Rudolf (it fits much better)
Mab: Make a Move - Incubus

sorry, forgot a few...

Wildy: Dude Looks Like a Lady - Aerosmith
Aaryanna: Devil's Daughter - Silvertide

Lorenda:    "Baby Got Back" by Sir Mix-a-Lot

Mix-a-lot's version, or Jonathan Coulton's version?

Um...the more popular, well known one?

{EDIT}  The Joco one I guess.....

Which? I find Joco's version to be much more popular, and I know it far better...

Ruthless Dracocidal Destania: "Invincible", by Pat Benatar
Post-Edward "Nice" Destania: "Kiss From a Rose", by Seal

...and although I've actually considered this myself, it seems that all of my other ideas involve Mab's Land characters.  How odd.

I'm not usually in the business of assigning songs to people, but I'll give Dan a go.

For normal, happy-go-lucky Dan I can't help but think of "Everything right is wrong again" by TMBG.
For evil Dan, I'd say 'Vows of Destruction', but since I wrote that specifically for him, it would be cheating.
Hence, it has to be 'Memento Mori' by Moonspell.

I am the moment, the soul
The moment that ends it all...

"Letter from the Lost Days" from the Silent Hill soundtrack is Abel's Story personified. Here's the song on YouTube. ...Only, it's kind of narrated by a little girl, so you kind of need to hone in on the necessary bits :B

Here are the lyrics.

I'll try to think of some more, but this is definitely the best contribution I can offer so far.

Thought of a few more:

Cubi in general:  "Dream Police" by Cheap Trick
Dee:                "Miss Independent" by Kelly Clarkson (Though I like Caswin's ideas better   :U )
Aniz:                "They're Coming to Take Me Away Ha-Haaa!" by Jerry Samuels  (MWAHAHAHA!   :mwaha)
Mows:              "Jaws Theme"   :mowmeep
Delna:              "Bad Case of Loving You (Doctor, Doctor)"  by Robert Palmer    :3
(We need to find one for Matilda  :) )
"TEETH!  TEETH!  He's a biter!!!"

Mean and inappropriate or no, I can't help but think of the ending of "Gold Dust Woman" by Fleetwood Mac.

Well, right now I can only think of one: Technologic's "Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger" for Jyrras and his gadget's and inventions. Though for some reason I can see Mab doing the Caramelldansen, and it's really appropriate. Or silly, one of the two. That's all I can think of right now, but if I think of more I'll post 'em.

thought of a couple more:

Fae World:  "Everything you know is Wrong" by Weird Al
Biggs:          "Mambo #5" by Lou Bega (his version)
Alexi:          "Cold as Ice" by Foreigner
"TEETH!  TEETH!  He's a biter!!!"

What do you mean by "evil Dan"?  He hasn't always been happy-go-lucky, obviously, but I know I don't remember him turning evil at any point.

Well, from Regina's perspective he's pretty evil in 973-974.   >:3

Oh crap, I just remembered one.

Wildy: "The Legend of the Last of the Outlaw Truckers AKA The Ballad of Sherriff Shorty" - The Dandy Warhols. I mean, it kind of fits Wildy if you squint your eyes a little. I mean the song's about someone named Shorty and Wildy's kind of short and I LOVE THIS SONG DON'T JUDGE ME. :C

EDIT: Okay, I remembered another. This one might be more appropriate.

"Vicarious" - Tool. Probably applies to the Cubi race or the Demons, even though the song's about addiction to tragedy. Here are the lyrics.

The universe is hostile
So impersonal
Devour to survive
So it is, so it's always been...

We all feed on tragedy
It's like blood to a vampire

Vicariously, I
Live while the whole world dies
Much better you than I.

Lisky

:hug it's alright keaton... i won't judge you just because your trying really hard to get other people to listen to a song you obviously love...

i thought of one that seems to fit Kria when it comes to Lorenda's friends...

Kria: The Mating Game - Bitter Sweet

I support the demon race (usually with my hands)!   Also... LOOK A DISTRACTION! -->

Naldru

I was just thinking of the old James Bond theme "Live and Let Die".  I'm just not sure with whom it would be the best fit.

"Mac the Knife" might fit Kria.
Learn to laugh at yourself, and you will never be without a source of amusement.

Malakin

For Evil killy Dan I was thinking: Disturbed - The Game :P
"The only limit to my freedom is the inevitable closure of the
universe, as inevitable as your own last breath. And yet,
there remains time to create, to create, and escape.

Escape will make me God.
"

Tycoon

"Gay Bar" (Electric Six) for everything Jyrras would like to say to Abel, but can't since he's not dressed in a snazzy Abraham Lincoln outfit.

Pagan

Whenever I hear Chumbawamba's Tubthumping, I think of Dan. Does that make it count as a theme song?
After a long time, some things change. Some things don't. And I still love Regina!

Baal Hadad

I just thought of "Chilly Down" from Labyrinth for Biggs.  Anything there?

Cogidubnus

May: You are My Sunshine (version by Norman Blake)
Regina: Master Passion Greed (Nightwish)

And...ah...

Kria: El Macho (Mark Knopfler - Yes, yes, I know. Flip the genders and it's perfect, however.)

Jairus

Regina: Master Passion Greed (Nightwish)
That reminds me...

Doctor Jyrras: End of All Hope (Nightwish)
Dan: I need a hero (I know mainly the Shrek 2 version)
Alexsi: Goldion Hammer (both the name of the attack and the music playing in the background)
Abel: "I'm Too Sexy" (aka "I'm too sexy for my shirt"), Right Said Fred

Old conversations power go! Back when Amber and I liked to discuss Janus Bond fairly regularly, she considered Garbage's song "The World Is Not Enough" (from the movie of the same name) to be a good theme for the relationship between Doctor Jyrras and Janus Bond.

As for other character themes, I have no idea at this point in time. You just highlighted my memory, is all.

Oh, that is so absolutely perfect.

Well, let me look through my playlist...

Jyrras/Abel: "As Long As You're Mine", from Wicked. Yeah, I know they're not a couple, but it's one of my favorite songs for a couple, and just let me pretend. That, and "In Whatever Time We Have" from Children of Eden. Or Beauty and the Beast, from the Disney movie of the same name. I'll let you decide who's the Beast. Yeah, I'm weird, I know.
Abel: Boulevard of Broken Dreams, Green Day. Especially post-Aniz.
Dan v. Dark Pegasus fight: Duel of the Fates.
Jyrras (towards Dan/Abel): I'm Not That Girl, Wicked. Change the singer's gender, and I can imagine how bad he'd feel if Abel chose someone else.
Dark Pegasus: Still Alive. Okay, not so much anymore, but still...
Janus Bond: The James Bond theme. Really, what other tune is there for him?
Dan: Number One, from Bleach.

And because I feel silly...
Dan v. Regina: I Can't Decide by Scissor Sisters. "I can't decide whether you should live or die..."
Lorenda to Jyrras: If You Were Gay, Avenue Q.
Matilda to Dan: Everyone's a Little Bit Racist, also Avenue Q.
Fa'Lina: Wild and Untamed Thing, The Rocky Horror Picture Show

And... I'm tapped for now.

Why yes, I have a strange collection. Now, to find a theme song for Amber and Fluffy... maybe "Let There Be" (AKA God creates everything after imagining it) from Children of Eden.

Psychotic murderous Dan: tie between "The time to kill is now" - Cannibal Corpse and "Make them suffer" - also Cannibal Corpse
The undead race in general: "Necronomics" - General Surgery

Not quite what this thread is about, but it fits closer than any others I've seen listed. Last week my mind was churning while I was otherwise mindlessly hauling wood for my bro.

Thinking of Dan and Abel's pounce attacks in SAIA, I came up with The Bishi Boys. Amazing sometimes what kind of silly things come out when doing mindless labor.
