So, Kittah's got a new busboy and Bengahl's got a giant scary robot-lookin' thing behind him. This should get interesting o.O

Sicill

For a second there I thought it had suddenly changed to daytime. Their night sky is definitely bright. It's good for traveling, bad for stargazing.

I'm a tad surprised that Bengahl hasn't met more people or become aware of the general population. I would have imagined that learning about similar individuals would have happened fairly quickly.

Sorry, but who is Kittah? I've seen references to her before but not enough to know why Luke would be screaming. Though whatever it is he probably didn't have to deal with under Rellis or Orville.

Ariannia orbits a Gas giant, so their night sky is dominated by Clayor, a blue-green gas giant, how big it is, i can't say.

Bengahl's been gone from Ariannia for a very long time. Ages in Orb, manners do not make.  >:3

Kittah is Kittah, much like Ink is Ink, read into the dialogue somewhat, particularly with a couple of previous pages, and the phrasing of 'dress code'  >:3

How deliciously evil.  >:]

I hate to be a downer, but I'm not honestly sure I like the soft focus effect in the colouring.  It seems to me that it's something you'd want to use sparingly as an effect, not over the whole thing.

That said, things are starting to get interesting plot-wise.

I wanted to say, just because the mental image is horrible, at first I thought the name of this thread was, 'Enter the Apron'.  This lead me to a mental image of an apron with a chain saw and a plasma cannon, having just blown down a wall and standing in the rubble, laughing maniacally.  Just thought I would share.

I don't think anyone has actually linked to this:

...that's where I know her from, anyway.

You fuckin TEASE!

and i love every minute of it.  >:3

but seriously? in recent comics, despite appearances, i've felt i've been letting it down quality wise, not really experimenting with detailed backgrounds, differing camera angles and perspective, i wanna put some decent care and attention into the comic, and make it more expressive..

i don't wanna end up like Mookie, or worse, Tim Buckley.  :U

well if its been two years and your art has not changed AT ALL then something is wrong, admitting it is another matter

Come on, now. His art has changed in two years. Luke looks less like a fox-colored husky and more like a fox now, for example.

Mao

I believe they're more burning Tim Buckley.  He's a favorite of many to trash.

Ah. Well, I can safely say I have no idea who Tim Buckley is, and from the sound of things, I probably don't want to.

Mao

He's the author(?)/artist of ctrl-alt-del.  Many people like to hate on him for various reasons.

One of them being he bought a $3000 tablet and uses it to do cut and paste art.

I'm pretty sure that's out and out envy on the part of many, but even so...

You said you probably didn't want to know.  Now we've managed to convince you that you didn't, but now it's too late.

If you want to work on perspectives, M.C. Esher might be a good place to start.

Or it could quite easily be overkill.
