Alright new art thread  :eager  :boogie . I've improved since last time but I still have a lot to learn.

My old art thread: http://clockworkmansion.com/forum/index.php/topic,4040.0.html It's ugly.

Alright lets start with this. http://i397.photobucket.com/albums/pp59/Sparks-Wolf/sparksref.jpg That is Sparks. He is based off of me. It's not an old drawing but I've changed his appearance  little. He wears a brown trench coat instead of a black one and the weapon is a different color.

http://i397.photobucket.com/albums/pp59/Sparks-Wolf/Matthias.jpg A gift for a friend on deviantArt. The wolf's name is Matthias. Not my character.

http://i397.photobucket.com/albums/pp59/Sparks-Wolf/overthevillage.jpg This is one of my best drawings so far. Too bad I don't have a scanner so I had to use a camera. The girl on the roof is named Yumi.

http://i397.photobucket.com/albums/pp59/Sparks-Wolf/Curry.jpg This is an old drawing. Her name is Curry. She is a mage. She is best at fire magic.

http://i397.photobucket.com/albums/pp59/Sparks-Wolf/behindyou.jpg My newest pic so far. It's just a random drawing I did out of boredom. I think it came out good. It's weird I usually suck at digital art.

That's all for now.

Good stuff. Not great, but good. I'm not really that good at criticising art... so that's all I've got to say.

Well, I am. I've been known to throw up huge walls of text, and I'm trying to cut that back, but you've got a fair few pieces posted. So, here I go.

Sparks: As a note, the eye will clean out impurities over time. I'm not sure how long his eye would be red.  Of course, cool is the rule here, and I laude you for giving him a real reason for having one, rather then "Demons cursed his ancestors" or something like that. And not making it bright ruby red. It gives him a touch of realism. Character wise, I like his details and it feels like you have a solid idea of his personality. Artwise, he looks a little off balance. Like he's leaning to the left. The wings are rough, but wings are always rough. In this case, his wings look really thin and flat. The only proportions I could nitpick over is that his elbow is a bit low. An elbow is halfway up the length of the arm, and is level with the bottom of the ribcage. His one looks about level with his belly button.

Matthias- He's very expressive, you can feel the contemplation and serenity coming off him. The hair doesn't look very hair-like, but that's typical of anime. AS a note, however, anime usually doesn't line in anything but the outside edge of long hair, and uses spikes for shorter hair.
Nice job on the hand holding the skull, too.

Village- Yumi's hair looks pretty good. I can't say much about this pic, since I'm not that practiced in perspective, but as long as one assumes Yumi's building is as tall as the red one, it looks pretty good.

Curry- Not much to say about this one except that if that's an old one, I can see you've improved :3 Another expressive face, firey but understated.

Behind You- Might want to watch the saturation on your colors. The blue lines are kind of garish. The shadows look a little off, but I don't really know what his profile looks like so I can't say for certain.

Overall there's a bit of flatness to your characters, but that gets better with practice. You seem to have a good feel for your style but you're not afraid to experiment. Don't ever loose that.

Anyway... nice work. Can't wait to see more.
This is my pencil. There are many like it, but this one is mine. My pencil is my best friend. It is my life. I must master it as I must master my life...
