No, we don't go deleting accounts because someone said so. We will if the account holder logs in and sends one of us a PM requesting it, or if you can provide us with sufficient proof that it is you, and not someone else...

Alternatively, we can delete _this_ account, and you can change the name on your other account. That would resolve it...

You can do it yourself, you know.

Go to profile (At the top of the page); then on the left side of the screen, click on "Account Related Settings."  There should be a field for "Name," where you can input the name you want everyone to see.

You'll note that it mentions that you will still have to log in with the original name, though.
