And besides, the problem is not with Dan as a cubi, it's with Dan as a cubi from the Cyra clan. We don't know much about Cyra except that they seem harder to detect than most cubi. Which may not be a coincidence.

I'm not sure it's restricted to Cyra Clan.  I think Cyra Clan is simply the main target.

Oh and lets not forget that there are thousands of diffrent variations of dragons (like Mythos).  The few things most dragons have in common are horns (or spikes) and scales.

I erased the ones that seemed least likely.  Is she wearing anything that could be a patch?  Maybe her ponytail holder or eyebrow ring (she's wearing one, yea?).  If not, I'd say cubi or were, definitely.

Jyrras is probably still developing the patches back at this point.  However, concealment charms have been around for centuries, more likely millennia.  Remember Kria's Creature-To-Being amulet.

IIRC Dan is around 16 here.  That makes Jyrras twelve.  I think it would be a little early for him to have brought the patches to market.
